How many of you are planning on getting plastic surgery in the future? I think Ill probably end up nipping and tucking but only when its really really necessary. Im not sure about the whole botox thing. I want to be able to show emotion. But who knows by that time they'll hopefully come out with something a little more natural looking. How do you girls feel about plastic surgery? And will you do it?

none!! i never believed in it...im happy with what god gave me...I just feel like plastic surgery is just a way to keep finding things you don't like about yourself...love who you are..for what you are!

I've already had a breast augmentation and I love it!!! I'd definitely go in for a nip/tuck after I have kiddos!

Re: Q of the Day: Plastic Surgery?
Im not againist it, but would never get it.
ive had a kid already and still am a small size, and im a believer in working out to lose the baby weight, not getting anything done surgically to get rid of the weight
and i have boobies but if i didnt i wouldnt get anyway because im too scared of having foriegn things in my body lol..i would be too scared of the bursting/infections etc

I have small boobs and I love them now but after I have kids if they start to sag, I might get them done. I would also consider a tummy tuck after I have kids if my stomach gets messed up to the point where excercise wont help it.
if theyre small now i doubt they will sag after kids

Re: Q of the Day: Plastic Surgery?
i dont think i'll ever get it b/c i think its not necessary. the same reason botox is never happening either. id rather age gracefully then try to stay 20 for ever. but thats just me

Re: Q of the Day: Plastic Surgery?
I already had a breast reduc. and lift at age 25 (8 years ago) and I would do it again in a heart beat. I think that's all I would do though. some people who get work done LOOK like they had work done.....and that's gross.

Re: Q of the Day: Plastic Surgery?
I used to say that I would get a whole laundry list of things done.... but then I had surgery in something medical-related and after that.......... my answer is no.. I wouldn't electively take the plunge, even if my boobs would be like 10x bigger in the end

Re: Q of the Day: Plastic Surgery?
I have always struggled w/ insecurities & discomfort because of my large breasts so it's the only kind I would consider if any at all. While I respect that it's a personal decision I don't think I can ever go through surgery unless medically necessary. I'd rather live w/ my imperfections than risk going under. Plus the scarring is not pretty. Some people think they're a blessing anyway and I've learned to love me just the way I am. Feeling good about yourself is internal so I don't think it should be done to boost self esteem.
Anyway, my parents are aging well & I think the process of aging naturally is beautiful.

I'm pretty happy w/ the way I am, I definitely wouldn't do anything other than tummy tuck after kids, if my body doesn't snap back to my rock star days...

Re: Q of the Day: Plastic Surgery?
How many have seen a women after kids? How about a few years later? Why do you think you need a tummy tuck because of kids? Maybe with multiples-like Kate plus eight on tlc. I am in my late 30s with 2 kids-12 and almost 10. I wear a size 6-8 and I am 5'2'. Yes, I have put on weight. Am I fat, no. Can I afford to lose a few pounds, yes. Do I need a tummy tuck-no. Diet and exercise work fine. It won't take away the stretch marks. I absolutely would die to lose the 9 lbs I have put on in the last 2 years, but not from a medical procedure.

Re: Q of the Day: Plastic Surgery?
There are two things that I would do. One a nose job. I have always hated my nose since I was little (people always ask me if I have ever had my nose broken and no I have not) Also I think most likely my eyes one day. All the women in my family have extremely droopy eyelids as they get older and if this happens to me I will more than likely get them done at some point.

For me personally it's not about taking away the stretch marks....i know that those are my battle scars...lol...but i also have alot of sagging skin and i think it is from having 2 c-sections

i dont plan on having any plastic surgery. i dunno i just feel happy with what ive got and whatever life gives me later on. when I get older...i'll look older. i couldnt see telling my children they are beautiful the way they are and then going under the knife to change my own appearance.
I Agree 100%. The only thing I might do when I get older is maybe lift my breasts. But I highly even think that would happen.

Re: Q of the Day: Plastic Surgery?
I dont have any negative feelings towards plastic surgery at all- i would be totally up for it. The only thing that bothers me is the risks. Its a major surgery that can have major complications and people have died during it. I just dont know if the pros outweigh the risk, thats all.

Re: Q of the Day: Plastic Surgery?
I'm not fond of any surgery after I had a bad surgery experience. I say for all those who want plastic surgery go for it. As for me I would only have any surgery, plastic or otherwise, if it's absolutely necessary.
