What if you get/have a tattoo of your Fh's name, face, initials etc etc etc but then you break it off, what would you do with the tattoo, keep it or get rid of it? How would you feel?

I would either get rid of it or cover it. I dont think I would want to see it everyday. UNLESS it was god-forbid a death, then I would leave it.

well first off I dont think i would get anyones face, name tattooed on me except for maybe my children (cause they'll always be my children)..but if I did ever give in I would most likely put it in a place wheres its hidden, so if god forbid something did happen, i'll be the only one to see it, or if something so painful happened and it was just a messy breakup i'd probably go see about having it lasered off...

This happened to a friend of mine. She got her ex-fiances name in a heart on her hip and literally a week later they broke it off. She put a tribal through the heart a week after that. I'd never put anyones face or name on me except maybe my kids.

i dont know. FH wants to get some sort of matching tattoo since we are getting married. im really nervous about it. i would love for him to get my name b/c it would be hot but i feel like its a jinx! those kinds of tattoos make me really nervous.
if i did get a tattoo and things didnt work out maybe id get it laser removed or id cover it up.....i dont know - it depends what and where it was...

I'll just cover it up if it happens...i do have this and i have a regular tattoo that is a decent size on my lower back and above it in small letters is FH's name...if god forbid that happens, i want to finish the tattoo underneath it and make it bigger on my back

It has happened to my friend too. I would never ever get a tattoo period!!!! Sometimes my FH talks about getting one and I joke with him and tell him he should get my name tattooed on his back (my name would take up his whole back, hahahah) but I would never want him to do that.

i always joke w/ FH (and anyone who questions our tattoos) that god forbid we ever did get divorced or something, i'd still keep it as a reminder of the day i made made the biggest mistake of my life seriously though, i really don't know what i would do. i'd probably cover it up in some way.

LOL honestly if we get divorced i think i would be more concerned and upset about other things, the tattoo won't really even be a big deal at that time i would be alot more concerned that i am divorcing my husband...marriage is a huge commitment and that commitment to me is alot bigger than a tattoo, a tattoo is the easy part...i am willing to spend the rest of my life with him and make those vows so in the grand scheme of things the tattoo really isn't that big of a deal. If i get divorced i'll do exactly what i said in the above post, i am going to finish off the other tattoo i have on my back and cover fh's name...i have a decent sized tattoo on my lower back, ive been wanting to extend it a little bit and get more added to it. So the answer is no, i would be more upset about my marriage ending than a tattoo that i can cover up with $300 and not even have to worry about it again right after its done...the divorce is something i would have to live with the rest of my life.
Also, theres ppl who get tattoo's, just regular ones and years later dont like them so they go to cover it up by getting something else done over it, its not a big deal to cover up a tattoo
its a little funny to me that a tattoo seems to be a bigger deal that the vow to spend the rest of your life with somebody

my brother in law has my name on his shoulder tatooed. His ex wife shares my name. Its weird.
