Q - too much pink?

Q - too much pink?

there was a thread the other day about dying ur slip...and i realllllly want to dye mine pink...but i am worried that

1 - it will not match the pink in my dress and

2 - it will be waaay too much pink.

but i loooooove pink and i love the idea...here is my dress, please give ur opinion esp. if u think it would look stupid.

maybe just go with a baby pink.....like a soft, light pink...

do NOT try to match the color on the dress - that would be too......let me go with 'prommy' if you know what i mean...

i like the idea of dying it - it's a simple touch that makes it 100% YOU!!!!

I agree with Jess - I say go for it, but go for a subtle pink. . . .

I love the way dyed crinolines look, but I would be worried that it wouldn't match the pink in your dress. What about doing pink shoes? I was going to dye my slip, but decided not too because its not very full and my shoes are really bright pink and it was alot going on.

but like Jess said, I wouldn't try to match the shade of pink.
if you do a soft subtle pink I think it would be perfect.

i agree too. the pink in your dress is very pretty, but too much of it may look weird (for lack of a better word). i think a nice blush pink would look really nice, it would stand out w/out taking away from the pink in the dress.

a lighter pink would look nice...if u want a lighter pink just leave it in the dye for a shorter amount of time then the instructions say.

i love love the color pink so much and I would agree with jess if you are going to dye the slip do a lighter pink that way you dont over do it - if you do decide to do that I can not wait to see pics of how it looks

I've never seen this - what a GREAT IDEA!!! in my minds eye i agree - don't match the dress - maybe a very very light baby pink?

hmmm - in my eyes, you can never have too much pink! lol
and the only time you are going to even see your slip is if you are holding your dress up -
if its going to peek out at the bottom, i would say be careful only because the bottom of your dress is pink

Honestly, I would love it if you dyed your crinoline pink, it would look so hot, I think it would actually enhance the dress and make it more 'you,' I definitely say go for it!
