QOD June 6th

Happy Wednesday!

Today's question is about alone time. Since wedding days tend to be so hectic and everyone says the day goes by so fast..
Are you and your FH scheduling any alone time during your big day?
Married ladies, did you and your DH get some time away to be alone?

I plan on making the bridal suite our spot where we can take some time away during CH without our BP to let the moment sink in.

We had our alone time in the classic car from the church to the RH, which was about 25 minutes. Though the limo driver was with us lol Then we had a little alone time in the bridal suite. But that lasted only like 10 minutes before we went down to the cocktail hour.

I really do not feel that we had too much alone time. Our BP was with me in the bridal suite, my dh was welcoming our guests into the RH (ceremony and reception at RH), and we did a cocktail and dessert reception so we moved right into the party after the ceremony.

Although it was very nice at the end of the night, when the limo came and picked us up and we had that time alone....cause then our BP and friends.family were waiting for us back at the hotel.

We will have alone time in the Bentley on the way from the church to the reception, which is a good 40 minute drive. Other than that, there's going to be a ton of people at the wedding that we never get to see, so I highly doubt we will have any time to ourselves once we get to reception!

We spent about 20 min alone together after the ceremony in the bridal suite - enjoyed some champagne together. It was great!

I scheduled 15 minutes of alone time immediately following the ceremony while everyone else enjoys the cocktail hour!

Hadn't even thought about it. However, I think we will have plenty of alone time after the wedding. During, it's time to enjoy and party with our friends and families. :)
