Let me first start by saying what an honor it is to be BOTW!!
So, the first question is......
When did you realize FH was 'the one'?
I realized FH was the one when he told me that he wanted to change his life around for me. I knew that he was taking this relationship as serious as I was. He told me that he wants to make a better life for us. He finished up school, cleaned up his act, and has become very successful in his career. I couldn't be more proud of him!

I knew he was the one when we first said I love you - which was about 3 weeks into our relationship. I was in a really bad place before FH and in the beginning of our relationship - i guess i wasnt taking it all that serious thanks to past experiences but when when he said that to me something kinda click and i thought 'eloise - get your head outta your a$$, he's a keeper' LOL

I would have to say from the time I gave him a second chance. I almost broke up with him one month in b/c I didn’t think I was ready to jump back into another relationship. Once I opened myself up to a relationship with him, I automatically knew I had such a great guy and knew he was the one. Sounds corny I know! Lol

Hmm.... i would have to say when he picked me up all the way at Babylon when my drunk silly self fell asleep on the LIRR and missed my stop at 3 in the morning! plus the fact that he stayed on the phone with me the whole time to make sure that nobody would bother me.... :

the day I realized I could really tell him anything and be completely open and honest with him. I've learned from my last relationship that if you cannot be brutally honest with someone and be comfortable enough to tell them what's really on your mind and them accept and listen to you (and vice versa!), then it's not going to end well. I held back a lot in the past for fear of what the other my think or do or say, but with FH I've learned to just say the things I'm thinking, and not keep them bottled up inside until they explode at the wrong moment over something petty and stupid. And FH is the same way with me. Very rarely do we have disagreements but when they do arise, we are able to just calmly tell each other what's on our minds and work through it rationally.

mine was actually very similar! in my case, FH drove into the city to pick me up because, well, i was REALLY drunk. i kept telling people 'please call matt' and he suddenly appeared like a knight in shining armour. i remember walking out in my pretty outfit and high heels, and him in sneakers and a baseball cap through a bar, and i was just thinking 'he's amazing, i've never been able to count on someone like this.' it was totally selfish in that case, but he really saves me time and time again, literally and figuratively.

i realized FH was the one really early on in our relationship - maybe we were in like 11th or 12th grade? When we started driving, we used to drive around and look to find really nice houses and we'd talk about the future. We realized that we wanted all the same things out of life, we loved being together and knew from really early on that we were meant to be together

We were laying on the beach and he asked me a series of random questions and then he told me he loved me. I kind of melted...that was it for me.

On our first date. We spent 8 hours talking, connecting. It was the most amazing night of my life. I knew I was going to spend the rest of my life with him. Turns out he felt the exact same way. By date 3 he was asking what kind of wedding I wanted, and if I felt that I could make his house our home or if I wanted to look for something else together. He has amazed me every day since.
