we are going to apply for our marriage license today! So inspired by this..
Are you keeping your last name, making it a combo? and how did your FH react to your decision?
For me, my FH is extremely laid back so he didnt mind that i didnt want to change it. i figured since it served me well these 27 years, why change it now?! about 6 months ago, i decided i would hypenate my last name! many women in my field either hypenate or dont change it at all. either way my FH is happy and it's a good compromise :)

That's awesome! I'm changing mine, I've been living with the most boring last name for years...it's time for a change! hahaha

I am taking his name. I've been waiting to get rid of mine for a long time. FH is cool with whatever I'd want to do..

I'm hyphenating, only for professional reasons. In time I will phase out my current name and only use his name.

I'm changing my name I feel bad bc my dad has no sons to carry the name on. I like my new last name and I feel it's important to FH.
