Good morning beautiful ladies!!! Happy Tuesday = ) My question for you today is: other than entertaining your guests with food, alcohol and music, what else will you have for your guests to partake in? FH and I are having an anniversary dance. According to our guests, we have 3 couples that will be married at our wedding for over 40 years - (my FIL's being one of them)I have been asking the couples in random conversation about songs trying to find out what was their wedding song and will have it played for them at ours. We will be giving the top 3 an engraved bottle of wine with their annivesary date (and for the FIL's we will also be giving them matching t-shirts 'Together Since' and the year they were married.) Trust me when I say they will definitely wear them especially when they travel.

That's a really cute idea. The day of my wedding will be my Maid of Honor's birthday so I will have a cake brought out onto the dance floor for her at some point. That's pretty much it aside from the usual. :)

My wedding date is also my older sisters wedding date and it will be their 10 year anniversary that night. I am going to bring out a mini cake for them as well.

I was thinking about doing something similar. Having DJ play the wedding songs for our family (FH's parents, my parents, my sisters) without telling them beforehand. I've also seen the anniversary dance done where all couples are called to the dance floor and the MC calls out numbers of years that people have been married, and if you've been married for less than that you must leave the dancefloor. The couple that has been married the longest wins a prize. Also considering doing that instead of the individual songs for our family. My parents have been married for 42 years this year!

My wedding day is the day before Halloween so as favors I'm making little cute burlap sack candy bags and setting up a candy station so they can 'trick or treat' on their way out.

I want to do the anniversary dance as well. I already have my parents and FIL's song, still working on two more couples. But the engraved bottles is a great idea!!!

She has no idea! I want to surprise her! It's my cousin, I am closer to her than I am to either one of my sisters. I was her MOH and I just want to do something special for her!
