Well, as I posted in another message, today is my 3rd year anniversary with FH (my longest relationship by far!)
Today is bittersweet, because it will be the last time we officially celebrate this date, since next year our anniversary date will change to our wedding date.
So today's question...
******Will you still celebrate your old anniversary? How do you feel about changing anniversary dates? Are you excited for a new anniversary? Our there any other dates you celebrate (i.e., engagement date? first ___?)********
I think we will still sort-of celebrate our August anniversary date just because its the summer and the weather is more vacation-appropriate thatn April. But I am looking forward to celebrating on April 24th too

We probably will celebrate our dating anniversary (although not as much as the wedding anniverasary) after we are married - FH is cute like that and likes celebrating dates

We won't be celebrating our old one anymore... We wanted to get married on our actual anniversary but it was a Thursday, and we wanted a Saturday so we chose 2 days later. I think we'll probably acknowledge it, just like we always acknowledge 2 other important dates in our relationship, but we'll stick to just our new anniversary date.

I would like to do something for our original anniversary. We don't have to exchange gifts but it would be nice to remember the day we actually started our relationship.
I totally agree....no gifts necessary maybe just a nice dinner at home or a nice card....something cute to remember!
same here

First off, happy anniversary!!!
Our anniversary of our first date is 10/22 or 10/23 - depending on who you ask. (Long story) This October will be our 5-year anniversary, and at this point in the game, we usually just go out to dinner. Not even something fancy - usually just a local spot that we really like. We'll probably keep up that tradition each October, because well, why not? And since our wedding date is in June, it's not like it's back-to-back. Wedding's in June, both of our birthdays are in August...I think it would be fun to have that to look forward to in the fall.

Happy Anniversary!!!
FH and I spoke about this already...lol and we decided we're going to acknowledge our dating anniversary by having a 'Date' night. So whatever we decide, dinner, hiking, apple picking (our date is 9/16)...that is how we will celebrate the beginning of Us....quality time, but no gifts.

We will not celebrate our anniversary bc we can barly remember when it is now it is mark down and of course we celebrate but we knew each other for soooo long before hand and things just fell into place so its just not a huge deal to us.
I def. want to celebrate our engagement anniversary (bc I remember the date LOL) and Im very excited to celebrate our wedding anniversaries.

I was thinking about this the other night. I always want us to celebrate our dating anny....no need for cards or gifts just a dinner and quality time together (esp once we are blessed w/ ) is IMO the most important thing. BUT on our Wedding Anny, I def expect us to go all out!!!!

I think we would always celebrate our 'old' anni. We dont do gifts or anything anymore, we just go to dinner or a movie.

We'll definitely celebrate our old one. The wedding date will obviously be special to us but so is the first day we met. Without that first day, there would be no wedding date. I'm just greatful that on May 28, 2006, I met the mosttttttttttttt amazing man in the world. That's our engagement date also.

We will definitely not be celebrating our old anniversary. It's December 18. FMIL's birthday is 12/17, and my birthday is 12/20 and then there's Christmas. December is a busy, expensive month for us, so we'll definitely be forgoing that one!

We'll be celebrating our old anniversary anyway- its FH's birthday. He's happy he can have his birthday date back and we'll have a new anniversary.
I like my new anniversary- we even celebrated it this year- it was our negative one year anniversary!
