Good morning!
FH and I are slowly transitioning to life in our new house, and I'm spending about half of my week in NJ with him and half at my mom's on LI. It's been an adjustment, with a few arguments along the way as we get used to sharing the same space.
So, this got me thinking. When you have a disagreement or fight with FH, what 'feminine wiles' do you use to get your way?
This is embarrassing, but I am totally guilty of using a baby voice, calling him one of the many pet names I have for him and pouting until he can't take it anymore and gives in. If this requires too much energy, I just fall back to the tried and true ... But I think LIW might block my post if I got into that.

I cry. FH always feels bad when I let the tears start flowing. Although I will say it doesn't take much for me to start crying.

FH and I really don't fight that much so when we do I get very upset. He can be so mad but once I start talking and my voice cracks and the tears come...he becomes such a mush and we talk about whatever is happening as opposed to wanting to kill each other.

I'm big on ignoring. If I'm mad I'll shut my phone off and get lost in a book. I'm really stubborn so sometimes when I'm wrong it takes me a little while to admit it, but I eventually come around. Usually he is the first to first to try to settle things. We do have one rule though and that is to never go to bed angry.

Well I'm hard of hearing. I just look away when I don't want to get into it ::evil laugh::Haha I don't do that too often. But it does work! We never have an argument that lasts longer than 5 minutes. I'm grateful for that.

Initially when we were dating, I used the pouty face a lot, and it worked like a charm. But now he is immune to my theatrics and won't give in. So we just ignore each other for a bit until we both forget what we were arguing about lol. We have never had a serious argument, but if we do, I'm sure we would talk about our concerns and find a mutually agreeable solution.

I think it depends on what we're disagreeing about.But... if I want my way... (like if I want him to get me another beer or something...) my usual thing is... 'babe.... how much do you love meeeee?'
I usually end up crying or I'll go into the bedroom to cry into my pillow and then he'll come in and we talk it out. I'm just a big cry baby.

At first I wasn't sure what my answer would be, but when I read this I realized this is exactly why I didn't know my answer! We met in college so we have basically always lived together. That means there has been wayyy too much time for him to learn my tricks. Normally, I guess my go-to move is the doe-eye stare. But he has totally become immune this this tactic!

We never really fought.. like major blow ups.. but we do have disagreements.. and we both always think we are right and dont budge... (usually it is me taht is really right though!!) So after I am done trying to plead my case to a brick wall I just say ok yea what you said and ignore him until we are over it.. Sometimes during that time he will realize how wrong he is and come up with a way to tell me I was right but neither one of us apologize.. LOL that goes unsadi but we know..We are both very stubborn Irish so it gets interesting.. LOL
