Happy Friday ladies!!!

This question is for the girls who have picked their venue (or are pretty close)

What was your '2nd choice' for the venue if you couldn't have the one you picked?

I haven't fully picked mine, but I know which one I want lol. My second choice though was the Vineyard out east. My Uncle is the chef so I know the food is delicious, but my cousin had a vineyard wedding last summer and I wanted to do something different.

LadyReeRee - Great Question! Good luck booking your venue!!!!
I only looked at 4 places...but if I didn't pick the Inn at New Hyde Park, I would have picked Carlyle on The Green. The room is beautiful! I just didn't like the cocktail hour set-up.

i am booking my venue on Sunday... but if I didn't book where I am ... I'd probably go to the Watermill since that was my first choice originally.

The place I'm booking at though was perfect and FH and I both had a 'moment' there and its perfect.

It's weird because our second choice has a completely different look than our first. If we hadn't booked Floral Terrace, we definitely would have booked Flowerfields!

We looked at Thatched Cottage first and then Westbury Manor. Thatched Cottage didn't give me this feeling I was hoping to have and when we pulled into the driveway of Westbury Manor OMG I felt it immediately. Had WM not been the one, our next spot to look was Milleridge Inn.. so depending on how I felt there, it may have been there.

Love this question! If I didn't fall head over heels for Lombardi's on the Sound, we had our date saved at Danford's. The woman was willing to hold it for us until the day of their showcase where they were going to offer a massive discount to anybody who booked that day.

We orignially fell in love with Land's End but the pricing was just way out of our budget. We were between three when we decided on Jericho Terrace. We would of booked Giorgious or Fox Hollow Somerly Room if we didn't choose Jericho Terrace.

If we hasn't fallen in love with East Wind the second we walked in it definitely would have been Flowerfield, and we were also considering Watermill.

We only looked at two places and fell in love with Willow Creek. If we couldnt have it there, I probably would have checked out East Wind or Flowerfield. My dream location though is a vineyard out east. Dont have the $$ to even think about that one!

We probably would have gone with the Bourne Mansion. I loved Deseversky but we needed more space.

Same as a lot of other ladies, Flowerfield was my second choice. FH's second choice was Majestic Gardens so pretty happy we didn't have to settle that debate haha

Out of the places we saw, North Ritz Club was my 2nd choice. If money was no object, I probably would have checked out some of the mansions, but I'm very happy with my venue! :)

Honestly, when I started venue searching online I was so frustrated because I didn't like anything. Finally found the Bellport Country Club and loved it! Honestly don't know what my second choice would have been. I might still be crying about hating everything right now if we were booked already!
