Good morning ladies! Happy Hump day!

Question:
How did you and FH meet? Before you started dating, who was the 1st to make a move towards that direction?


FH and I 1st met through a mutual friend in Sept of 2006. We were just friends after that and casually kept in touch through myspace. Myspace started to suck (lol) and we lost touch. By spring of 2010 it was myspace who? and I was on Facebook. I saw FH profile on our mutual friends page and sent him a friend request and we got back in touch and caught up a bit.

By late summer I get a text from our mutual friend telling me that FH thought I was really pretty and liked me. I was shocked! He wanted our friend to give me his # and contact him. I was hesitant because I had recently stopped seeing a guy who ended up being a complete jerk and a liar so I didnt feel like being bothered with possibly another jerk lol. So I held on to his # for about a wk or 2 without contacting him. I then get a private message on FB from FH saying our friend told him he gave me his # and he was hoping we could talk and hang out sometime. So I finally sent him a text the next day just to say hi. We spoke through text and phone for about 3 wks before our 1st date that FH asked me on and we have been together ever since! So u can see it was all FH initiating that got us to where we are today

FH and I met in physics class during 10th grade in highschool! He was a senior and the teacher actually sat us next to each other because both of our names started with MO's.. I thought he was boring so I had her change my seat to be closer to my friends! LOL.. Fast forward a couple of years and he'd been fb'ing me.. my friend was dating his best friend, she said he was a nice guy so I messaged him on fb, he wrote back to me on myspace (Who does that?! ) and we went on a date! The rest is history!!!

ETA: He was the one to make the first move of contacting me! LOL

FH and I met when we both started living in the same house as roommates. He will forever tell the story that I was the one who made the first move and was always flirting with him, but he really did make the first move! I always tell him that I wasn't flirting with him, I was just being nice!

My fiance' & I actually met at an audition in 2007--we even sang together! He was cast, but I looked too young for the role & was not cast.
About a year later, my fiance' was in between jobs & he was my waiter! I instantly recognized him and said hello. We became facebook friends and kept in touch, but nothing more. He actually around that time TRIED to ask me out, but I was like ehhh (I was sorta seeing someone else) haha.
THEN about a year and a half later we re-met at an audition & started talking more and more and he officially asked me out!
Our motto is: Better late than never!

We met at college - we were the same major and had most of the same classes.
He definitely made the first move and I held him back for half a year lol I had just gotten out of a relationship and wasn't interested in thinking about anyone for another relationship. The next year I let him take me to dinner and he was so sweet and fun to hang out with I decided I really couldn't stop thinking about him

FH and I first met in November on 2008, but I was told by a friend of his that he was a 'player' and I should stay away so I declined his invite to go get drinks.
Stupid Me! and not such a 'good friend'.
In June of 2009 he gave me a chance to hang out again and we went on a movie date.
From that day on I knew I wanted to be with him and made the right choice this time!!!

Wow someone told me not to date my fiance either, but for different reasons. Yeah we never became friends either! It was a couple of girls in college who never grew up and were just being mean. Weird how people can get in your business!

FH and I met in starbucks off of DPA in Deer park in 2009. He came up to me while I was studying and started to talk to me. He was soooo sweet!!! Reminded me of NOah from ' The Notebook'

FH and I met through our siblings. My sister worked with his brother as EMTs. On a Friday night in May 2008 people from their work station were going out to celebrate a birthday at a bar in Bayside. My sister asked me to go with her. At first I wasn't going to go because I was extremely tired from work and had been napping. My sister was like, 'Are you seriously going to stay home and sleep on a Friday night?' Finally, I said I would go. At the bar, my sister introduced me to her coworkers. She introduced me to FH and his brother. Through out the night it seemed that the EMT workers were standing around talking and their guests were hanging out in another group. FH bought me and drink and starting talking to me. He was very funny and easy going. At the end of the night, we exchanged numbers. We spoke on the phone for about two weeks getting to know each other. Finally we went on a date and the rest is history. It's a good thing I let my sister persuade me to go out that night!

We met on our first day of college in Spanish class. We then spent 3 and a half years taking almost all of the same education & english classes, bantering back and forth and sitting next to each other so we could make fun of the jocks, you get it.

I tried to make it clear I was interested, and FH constantly yells at me that he was hopelessly in love from day one and he tried too, but we were too awkward!

Finally, after a crazy fall semester of wayyyy to coincidental encounters, I decided fate was hitting me over the head and made my move.

He was an RA who got moved into my building when another one dropped out (one of those coincidences!) and I went to complain about something before a class. I ended up almost missing my class because I loved talking to him, then went back the next night to watch Boondock Saints...and then it was definitely my move

My FH and I met the beginning of our senior year of hs but my best friend had a crush on him. I would ask him if he liked her and he always said there was another girl he really liked...no clue that was me. We always had a slightly flirty relationship but I didn't make an moves because of my bf...than one day we were all hanging out and we ended up being alone and he kissed me, my bf found out as wasn't upset at all, sat me down in the car saying she didn't feel anything anymore and if I wanted to miss out on the best thing of my life I wouldn't date him because of her...she said we were meant to be! 7 years later she's still my best friend and getting married too :)

FH and I met summer 2006 in an area that use to be called the Hofstra strip of bars, in a club called XS. It was marty gra night and i was with a bunch of friends. those friends had left to go to Bogarts (another bar down the street) so I stole all there beads before they left...my best friend who is now my maid of honor actually spotted my FH starting at me and thats when I realized he was looking at me all night...i thought he was a creeper so i ignored him. As we where leaving, he pulls me to the side and i quote his first words where 'where did u get all those beads' and I said 'don't worry about it' and that was the beggining of our wonderful romance...oh and then i called him 2 days later

I met the FH through working at home depot in 2002 ... We talked here and there and then as I for to know him better we for each others numbers and we would hangout but then I when to Disney to do an internship and we lose touch for about 6 months and when I finally come home and I got invited to Dave and busters to see everyone that I worked with at home depot and he had a GF so it ****** a lot but things when sour for him I just asked to him hangout the gang as I called it l were going out so I said please come out u will have fun lol and things when from there and I started inviting to my house and he kissed me goodnight
But I really like him a lot and he never know it ... Things happen it weird ways as I say and when u r not looking so true !!!

Another great question! It took FH and I about 7 years to finally get together! We met at work years ago. We both were in relationships. The first time I hung out with him was with a big group of people from work and he had this brillant idea to get a cake and have people sing to me at Hooters!! It wasn't even my birthday and SOOO embrassing! I broke up with my ex and lost touch with my FH. We started talking again and then I moved to Hawaii and lost touch AGAIN. When I finally moved back, we started working together again and the feelings started. He admited that he always liked me. It just wasn't the right time. He was in a relationship. Then when he ended his relationship, I was in one. My relationship didn't last and it was finally the right time abo
ut two years later and we've been together ever since!

As cliche as it sounds, FH and I met at church. We were both dating other people when we first laid eyes on eachother and the first thing I thought (as horrible as it sounds) is 'he's gonna be mine one day.' As time went on he would see me and say to himself 'she's out of my leauge.' Me being a singer and him being a guitarist, I needed help with a song and decided to ask him if he'd play for me. Our friendship started to grow and after two horrible breakups we got closer till we realized there's more than just an ordinary friendship here. It's funny because neither of our former bf/gf liked the other bc of a bad falling out as friends so we were forced to not like eachother in the beginning lol. But that's how it all started five years ago!
