I love coming on here and reading about all the cool and different ideas brides have for their big day! I wish I was as creative as some of you ladies!

What are you doing for/incorporating into your wedding to make it 'unique' from any others you've been to? (Theme, cake design, doing a fast song for a first dance, etc. etc. etc.)

Before FSIL became pregnant with her second child, I thought it would be a really cute idea to have a 'first dance' with my nephew as I would officially become his aunt that day. I picked 'You've Got a Friend in Me' from Toy Story. Now we have a niece, so FH wants in on this moment too, so we're probably going to each dance with our FG and RB and switch at some point during the song.

I'm still trying to come up with ideas in that department!

One thing we're doing that I'm very excited about is FH's cousin is going to become ordained online so he can officiate the ceremony. They've been best friends for so long and he was the first person I thought of for our ceremony. He's just such a great guy and we thought this would be a great way to include him. I am honestly so excited about it!! I love Kevin and I can't wait to hear what he puts together for the ceremony

Here's some of things I'm doing:

Our first dance is going to be a faster song, which is our song.

Instead of boutinneres for the men... I'm going to each have them pick a superhero and they will have that superhero figurine pinned to their shirt. They will ALSO have the matching T-shirt of said superhero so once the 'formal' pics are done... they can take off their suit jackets and button downs and be comfy.

I'm going to carry a brooch BoK as opposed to a floral one.

We're having our friend Ben be our officiant... so I think we're gonna have a little bit of an 'unconventional' ceremony.

Also. I'm walking down the aisle to my MOH's kid sister playing guitar. I plan on walking down to 'Enter Sandman'

If all goes to plan, we will be having a nautical wedding. If that happens the guys will be in suits with sperrys, we will have a steel drum band, I will change from my heels to sequined sperrys after my first dance (or when my feet start to hurt), the card box will be a lobster trap, the boutinneres will have rope incorportated into them. I am full of nautical ideas, thats why I am praying my venue fits into budget!!

I love this question. We are doing a movie theme. The table's will be names of our favorite movies. Our center pieces are going to be hydrangias which look like popped popcorn instead of a vase a popcorn bucket which when people take home the center pieces they also get the cool popcorn bucket. We are doing a popcorn bar instead of a candy bar. And a few other things and the rest we are still thinking of.

We met in college through Greek Life and although our theme will be nautical, I am planning to do little touches (that may or may not be noticeable) to highlight how we met without compromising my theme. I'm planning to have my sororitys flower and his fraternitys flower in the middle of my bouquet together. I'm also planning to wear my membership pin, pinned to the inside of my wedding dress.

I'm keeping everything simple BUT FH is in a 'comedic hip hop trio' which is hilarious and inappropriate and the other two members are groomsmen and they are writing a 'wedding appropriate' song and performing :) (WITH my FH!)

Our table names are going to be places that mean something to us and then on the table we're going to frame a little blurb about why that place is import. For example, we're putting London as a table, and so the frame will say LONDON and then under it will say London is the place where Jackie and Phil's relationship blossomed etc. etc. :)

Also, in college I raised a lot of money for St. Jude so instead of favors, we're handing out st. jude bracelets and making a donation to the hospital!

FH is Jewish and I'm Italian so we're going to be working in various traditions from both sides into the ceremony and reception. We're also thinking of table numbers as pictures of us. Not sure if we just want to use our epics or do table numbers through different stages in our relationship. I'm sure I'll think of more things as the day gets closer!

We have some pretty creative 2014 brides!! These are great ideas ladies!

Instead of a limo as our car we're going to be using an old classic car that was redone by my moms friend!
