Sorry I am posting my QOTD so late. I took the day off work and have been out all day. FH surprised me with a spa day for my birthday. I got treated to a full body massage, facial and mani/pedi. Then he took me to a wonderful dinner at The Melting Pot! The food and dessert was delicious! I have such a wonderful FH!!
Question:
What has been one of your biggest pet peeves during the wedding planning process so far?
As for me it has been vendors who did not want to give me any kind of pricing information over the phone or email and just want to get me in for an appt. I can understand everyone's event is different and pricing varies depending on needs and whatnot but you can give me some sort of idea. I don't want to go in for a meeting and find out its way out of budget and then I just wasted my and their time! I automatically crossed vendors like this off my list. If they couldn't bother to give me some kind of information then I wasn't wasting my time. On the to the next one...

That's wonderful! What a great FH you have!
My pet peeve so far is when vendors offer you something extra but tell you that you have to book with them within a certain time limit. The time limit is very short.

What a great birthday gift! I love spa days and The Melting Pot!
I think my biggest pet peeve so far is that there are SO many options! There are so many vendors and everyone (friend and family) has an opinion about everything. I have gotten overwhelmed and we've only done RH and Florist.
FH is great at going to all of the appointments with me and negotiating, but when I ask about details or what he thinks about colors, etc, he goes 'I don't know honey. Whatever you want.' So annoying!

Great question! Oh btw, that is an awesome birthday gift! It was probably a great way to de-stress from wedding planning hehe :) ...The Melting Pot is really good!
My biggest pet peeve is that people say 'Oh you have so much time to plan and save.' WRONG! You can wait if you don't care what vendors you have, but if you really want a particular vendor, then you have book early. I feel like I enjoyed my engagement all of like a month.

It's most annoying when I contact vendors and purposely let them know I prefer to be contacted via e-mail and they call me.. Wth!
I've also had vendors email me and say they have experiance with an RH... And it's not even my RH!!

My biggest pet peeve has been the ton of emails from places I'm not interested in and the phone calls - ESPECIALLY the ones who call 2 times a day! If I don't answer you and I don't EVER call you back you should get the hint to stop calling!

Well I would have to say that its been great but when i started to book everything i would have to say that one thing that drove me nuts was when i called a limo company to check out prices and they told me over the phone ' sorry we cant book this early' really r u kidding me so i cross them off the list ...and i would never give them the time of day ...but that drove me crazy that people say that ...give me a break LOL

Torn between the emails - but I can almost forgive them because this how they get business - and people who want to voice their opinions about EVERYTHING.
So far, my sister has sent me long emails to complain about my choice of music, BMs, BM dresses, and how I've started planning.
FFIL has to continually comment on the wedding being on LI, even though his family is about 15 young or under 60 people, and my family is bigger and almost all people over 50, including 85 and 95 year old family members.
There's a lot more but...that's why I'm peeved.

My biggest pet peeve is getting calls/emails from vendors even after I've already told them that I booked with a different vendor in their field - and then they keep calling still after that.
