Wicked headache today and praying for as little snow as possible!

Todays..question..

How helpful has your fiance been with the wedding planning/DIY etc? Besides for him who has helped you the most? What have they done to help?

Fiance has been very helpful thus far. Hes came to every venue appt and even the two florist appts with me he doesnt say or ask much but hes there for the support. Also helped me address and stamp my e-party invites and bag the favors for our engagement party this weekend! He always gives me his opinion when I ask while looking at something online etc (even dresses and shoes haha). His parents along with mine are having the e-party for us sunday which was so nice my mom even made centerpieces for the tables! Parents came to the few venue appts of places we were debatinf between booking and im sure they will want to come for the other vendors as well.

My fiancé has been super helpful! He has actually taken part in setting up some appointments, DIY projects and has attended all of our vendor meetings & any bridal showcases I want to go to. I tease him & tell him I wish he didn't have an opinion about wedding things, but in reality, he has been a huge help & I'm definitely grateful for that!
My parents have also been extremely helpful, not only financially, but support-wise and if I ever need opinions or help with anything, they are always there to help and I am also very grateful for that! <3

When I've needed him to participate, he's participated. When we were booking the venue, I scouted locations w/ my MOH and only brought him to serious contenders. I always talked to him about vendors before making any decisions and we come to decisions together even if I'm doing most of the legwork.

He's in charge of limos and honeymoon.

He's been there every step of the way, but I have done most of the setting up appointments. The only thing he has done on his own was handle everything with the church and he's created all the spreadsheets for our budget and for our guestlist. It's great because those were things that I didn't want to do lol.

Besides FH the people that have helped the most would be my mother and my one MOH, but to be honest FMIL has helped a bunch and certain BMs and even other friends and fam. And of course everyone here on LIW!

The best way to put it is he is kind of like my staff. He isn't involved in the strategy and vision but does whatever I tell him to do. lol.

I do all the research and phone calls. FH goes on the appointments with me. I do all the talking but I want him to feel comfortable with our vendors so I feel that it is important that he is there. We have agreed on all vendors so it makes it all that much easier. Also, FH work schedule is crazy so a lot of the planning falls on me.
I have done some DIY things and I have had my mom, sister and niece help. I show him what I am doing and he likes it all.

FH goes to all the appointments with me. He is making the programs,menu cards and anything else on the computer.He gives me his opinion when I ask for it.He pretty much says whatever you want works for me.

FH is not really that helpful, though not his fault..i am left to go to all appointments and make all decisons as he doesn't live in the country. He is in Canada (he recently moved there for a job) and I am here in NY..so 1 it is hard ot be apart and on top of that trying to plan a wedding that i hope he will like and enjoy

My FH is not involved as I want him to be. My mom and sister went to all the RH appts. He just wanted to know how much things cost. I dragged hime to his first wedding showcase this week. I was surprised by his opinions about a limo and where he wanted to dress. He actually says when I'm on this site or watching a wedding show, I'm looking at 'wedding porn' which annoys me. I think he just wants us to get married and moving on to other stages in our life.

My fiance has had very little involvement,which is perfect for me! He regrets is now, seeing what I have booked and he's paying for it hahahahah.
My MOH lives in Bahamas but she, my SIL and my best friend have been amazing in helping me. My mom has been the absolute most helpful as she has been to vendor appts and expos with me and I delegated alot of DIY to her

My FH has been with me to every venue appointment, florist appointment, photography appointment-- he is great, always giving his input. He has been really helpful and like a calming effect. My sisters, mom, and FMIL have also been very helpful.

FH has been involved. He made one RH appointment and it was the only place I HATED lol. Like I walked out venting about how much I hated the place and the people we talked to. After that, he left the appointment making to me lol. He DIY'd the table numbers and he is doing the tuxes and stuff like that himself.

I have been doing most of the work but FH has been on every single appt (except dress shopping). His main responsibilities are the limo and DJ. He doesn't care much about what I pick, he just wants to be included. I think he would rather just go to the courthouse and get married but he wants me to have my wedding. lol.

MY FH is 100% involved a little too much sometimes lol. No but in all seriousness I have done all the leg work and research, countless hours online and lot of time on this website! Once I norrow it down to my top 2 and we meet them together we discuss, run it by our parents and then ultimatley make the decesions. They only thing that I have no interest in is limos. I have left that up to him. However we have not seen any yet and im getting anxious so I may involve myself in that shortly lol! I have to say I have a good support team from my bridal party to our parents everyone has been great (so far).

My FH is pretty involved he wont make any appointments but will come to all the ones I have made. He has a vision in his head that he wants, thank goodness it's the same as mine!

It's hard to my fiance because we are planning from Rochester and I'm on a teacher's schedule. So I went to most of my appointments with my mom/sister because I had weeks off at a time and he did not. That being said, he is a big help when I need him to be. I'm a bit of a control freak and really enjoy being in charge of everything.

Other than my fiance, One of my groomsmen has been a huge help. He designed all of my stationary and came to look at photographers with me. My MOH and mom have also been really helpful. They made my card box, got the family's wedding pictures together, and made a few alter decorations for me.
