QOTD 10/03

My FH, Best Man and I are doing a juice fast this week for 7 days...today is the start of day 3...nothing but fresh vegetable and fruit juice and water...it has been VERY challenging but we are moving right along!

We are doing this to reboot our bodies and start living healthier after the fast is over...

Have any of you done anything dramatic for your health? Any crazy diets or fasting? What were your results?

Nothing crazy but I did hire a personal trainer who seriously kicks my butt during our sessions

QOTD 10/03

I generally try to fast for 1-2 days a week, at least eat very little those days. I eat pretty healthy on my eating days and think it really helps me to clean things out. Nothing too crazy. If I get too hungry, I eat. I would like to lose 5-10 in the next year

I love food too much to fast! I've been using my fitness pal to count calories and just have been trying to eat more healthy. Also, I try to run a few days a week. I really want to lose 3-5 pounds before my wedding. Which doesnt sound like much, but I am barely 5'0 so that makes a difference on me.

I am starting Zumba tomorrow. I hope to lose some weight and tone up a little. Has anyone taken a zumba class? Did you like it? I had joined the gym a couple months ago and I was doing really good going about 3 times a week but now that I started my second job it's hard for me to find time to go. Zumba is only 1 day a week at night when I am off so I think it will be good.

i loved zumba but the crowd is so big at my place that between driving and waiting on line to make sure you get a spot its a 2 hr commitment!

Don't do anything crazy because all it does is get me sick or make me gain all the weight back plus more. Plus I had an issue with eating when I was younger, and I refuse to let myself go back to that. I was counting calories for a while and lost 20 lbs, but stopped and gained about 15 back, so I really need to start up again.
