HAPPY FRIDAY LADIES!! YAY!

Today's question is on my favorite topic of travel! What are some of the coolest adventures you and your FH have been on? How far and wide have your travels taken you? (edit: i nerded out and tried to add photos to this post and it didnt work so added photos of these to my album!)

FH and I both LOVE to travel so we've been lucky enough to go on lots of trips in our 4sh years of dating. We've gone on at least one trip every year. Our biggest and funnest trips have been:

Bonnaroo 2010: Our first 'vacation' together. Nothing like 15+ hours in a car to get you closer with your loved ones hahaha. I always joke with FH that it's good we did this so early in our relationship. I was still on my best behavior so i couldn't really complain about the 104 degree heat or the lack of proper shower for 4 days

Turks & Caicos 2010: Our first REAL vacation. FH actually won this on the radio (go figure!!) but we got to stay for 4 days at the Beaches resort for free! It was so awesome!

Euro Trip 2011: We went to Amsterdam, Munich (for Oktoberfest!), and Paris for 13 days. Such an awesome trip! It's hard when you only have one person to talk to for 2 weeks when no one else speaks english. It definitely brought us closer.

QOTD | 10.11.13 - Long Island Weddings

Fh and I love to travel we have never really had a bad trip really.

Our first real trip was when we got engaged lol. 2012 Bamboozle Festival. We had so much fun even though we were almost being trampled during skrillex, and I got sick by the last day. It was still an experience together he took care of me with my 104 fever, on the way home we got a flat its like 1am on a Sunday. Even though it we had a lot of hiccups on our first trip they made it that much more memorable also a hysterical engagement story lol.

Our first real vacation was Disney last October and it was AMAZING! It really has been our favorite trip. It was my first time at Disney and he had not been there since he was kid. The whole time and the whole experience was amazing and we both get Disney depression wishing we can go back at least once a week.

We have had so many fun little trips we are actually head up to Salem this weekend to have another one and the weekend before Halloween we are going to sleepyhollow. :) I love trips and traveling and so does fh. We have a plan to visit all 50 states and we have made some progress in the northeastern hemisphere we just need to start working our way west now.

Ooh, great question. Nothing like traveling...and we love to do it. Our first vacation together was in June of 2009 to Disney World. We started dating officially that February but we had been unofficial for about a year prior, which I had to explain to my dad in case he thought 4 months was too soon to be going away together lol. But him taking me to Disney World changed my life! I had went in 2001 but didn't remember much. He def. made me a Disney nut. We've been every summer since. 2012 made for such a record year as far as Disney goes....because I went 4 times (but only once with him that year, much to his dismay).

A weekend in Boston in 2010.

San Diego/Los Angeles in 2011.

Miami in 2012.

Maine in the winter of 2013 to celebrate our anniversary.

No Disney trip together this summer understandably, because of saving for honeymoon, but we are planning to stop in Disney Land on the way back from Hawaii next fall

FH and I love to travel also but our schedules don't really overlap much. We'll be taking most of our future trips over the summer. We take little road trips here and there all the time to place like NJ, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Montauk.

Our first REAL vacation was when we got engaged. We went to Hawaii in August of 2012 because we only had to pay for our airfare and our own expenses when we got there. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Maui (where we got engaged), and the Grand Hyatt in Kauai. It was pretty hard to pick a honeymoon destination after we had been to the most beautiful place ever!

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Maui on a vacation with some of my girlfriends from college, absolutely beautiful! what an amazing place to get engaged!

It's the worst the littlest things will remind me of Disney. I am dying to go back have no idea when we ill cause we are saving for the honeymoon, wedding, and house right now.

We've done tons of smaller trips together. We go to lake George every year and we've done hershey park, knoebels, baltimore, wildwood, seaside, and great wolf lodge
We've taken two big trips. One was a cruise to the carribean, and the second was hawaii this past july.

QOTD | 10.11.13 - Long Island Weddings

Our most memorable adventure had to be when we went to Discovery Cove in Orlando. My fiance proposed while we were swimming with the dolphins. It was so cool and definitely a memorable proposal story.

We also have been on 2 cruises together and went to the Dominican Republic. On one of our cruises we went zip-lining which was pretty awesome. In another one we went kayaking in the mangroves in Antigua. That was fun.

I love to travel, but FH prefers to take road trips. So, I take most of my vacations solo and then we do short road trips together when our schedules allow. We have gone to Puerto Rico a few times together and we both loved it there.

FH and I have been on a lot of trips together in our two years of dating. I have only been in the US for 4 years, so I love exploring different states in the US. Our most memorable trip, however, would have to be when I took him to Kuwait (that's where I was born, grew up and my family is still there). I loved showing him around my 'hometown' and the trip ended with FH asking my dad for my hand in marriage, so yes, it was a good time. Our favorite place to visit, however, is San Francisco. Both FH and I love it there.

We went to Shelter Island, and we had to take a boat to get there and we got to stay in the car, that was the coolest thing ever lol. We've also been to Montalk and Orient Point. Really long road trips, but tons of fun.

I'm a firm believer in long road trips! I seriously feel like me and FH will make it cause we know we can still love each other for long periods of time in cranky conditions you guys are giving me lots of ideas (and the itch) for our next trip!

We have been to alot of places. Actually are first 2 trips were before we actually were dating we decided what better way to see if we can get along. They were a weekend in dc and a month later. After punts Cana we made it official.
Since then we went to Bahamas twice. Jamaica twice. Florida a bunch of times. Disney and Miami.
We also did weekend trips I Seattle Boston Philly. And of course Canada

We've gone to his house upstate and we drove to Ohio to visit my friend who lives out there. We've only been together 2 years (exactly 2 years as of this sunday :) ) and we both got brand new jobs during that time period so big vacations haven't been able to happen.

What he doesn't know is that I'm planning on surprising him with a cruise for his 30th in the beginning of 2014 :)
