QOTD | 10.12.13

So they say your FH is supposed to make you a better person. In what ways has your FH made you better?

My FH has the patience of a saint. He's definitely taught me to slow down and not be as anxious about every little thing. From the get go, he made it clear he didn't want to play games so I learned that all the dating games I used to play would be useless. That's made me a better person since I'm not starting fights or creating unnecessary drama. He's also helped me stop biting my nails. Haha next up he's trying to help me quit smoking!

As cheesy as it sounds, FH definitely taught me that there are good guys out there, who will treat girls right. I had had a long history of dating horrible guys prior to FH. He was the first boy I met that treated me respectfully, opened doors for me, was patient, etc.

FH also as the patience of a saint. I'm VERY high strung and high stress. He is so easy going. Sometimes this can be very infuriating, but he does also have the ability to calm me down and make me see when I'm being irrational (as hard as that is for me to admit!)

FH completely balances me out, I can be a bit of a spitfire especially when I'm mad and he is just so calm all the time. Which to me is good because when we have a disagreement i tend to yell and he just sits there and is like ok are you done yet. We are both pretty easy going and we don't really stress out about much but if you piss me off I don't stop until I get my point across.

That sums up my FH! My friend called (still does on occasion) Saint JD. He was and still is so patient with me. And like yours, taught me to relax and not worry about everything.

I'm also a spender. Not so much on myself but on others, I'll find an excuse to get something for someone. He's taught me to be smart budget wise.

He's just an all around great guy that stays true to himself. Those positive vibes help me to be a better person in general.

Exactly! I couldn't have said it better! I am also always worrying about the future and always have to plan for something. FH always reminds me to be calm and take it one day at a time.

I used to be kind of naive and a pushover. Fh taught me how to defend myself and to protect myself and not be so vulnerable. I have changes alot since we have been together but I was also a teenager when we met!
