Was your proposal a surprise?

Kind of! I was almost positive when my FH asked my parents (my parents work very different schedules so it's hard to get them together - especially without me! And we had discussed when this day came it was important to us that he ask both of them.) So with that in mind ever since it was in my head that he had asked (about two weeks before he proposed) I was on the lookout for signs it was happening but it was a surprise the night he did it :)

It was a complete surprise. We had gone looking for rings together but never did I ever think he'd propose almost three years before we were planning to get married! He said he found the perfect ring and it was burning a hole in his pocket lol

It was a COMPLETE surprise!!! I thought we were just going out to a regular dinner. After meeting at his house he sent me on a huge scavenger hunt based on or favorite show the amazing race!!! He mad clues and everything. Our family was at every pit stop and we ended at the milleridge inn with a big dinner with both our families and a dozen roses. When I think back at it it's still feels like a dream. The amount of time and effort he out into it and getting our families involved is amazing. I feel so lucky

I had no clue whatsoever! I thought we were going with another couple to see the Rockerfeller tree, walk around a little and do some site-seeing, eat and go home. It was a perfect way to
start the New Year!!! I love that my girlfriend -now my Matron of Honor- who kept the secret- was there. Where I thought she was taking pictures of us she was actually filming the proposal!

I knew it was coming but when he did it I had no idea! He put the ring in front of me and I almost fell off my chair! It was perfect!

I had no idea. I thought we were going on vacation to Costa Rica and didn't think much of it. I came down with a virus the first 2 days of being there and was in bed the whole time. The next night I was feeling good and finally joined him for dinner at a outdoor restaurant on the beach and that's where he popped the question.

I knew it was coming, but not on the day that it happened. My stone was my mothers, and my great grandmothers before her and I knew my mom had approached my now fiancee about using it. I had every holiday pinned down as the day he was going to ask, but it ended up happening while we were tailgating at the Zac Brown Band concert at Jones Beach. I am such a concert and ZBB lover, and I was totally taken off guard. Everyone we were with knew it was happening, as well as my parents and best friend. I am amazed they were all able to keep it a secret from me lol.

Complete surprise! We had gone ring browsing months before, and I should have figured he was going to do it at my most favorite place Disney World. Made the trip that much more magical

yes! I thought he was going to do it a few days before so I was really disappointed that it didn't happen..he also did it at my job before we opened which really caught me off guard!!
