Hey ladies so excited to be bride of the week!! I tried looking up some old qotds so I don't do any repeats...sorry if any of my questions were asked already. Question for today:

How many people are in your wedding party? Is there an equal amount of bridesmaids to groomsmen? Is your wedding party mostly family or friends or a combo?

My answer:
Fh has WAY more groomsmen than I do bridesmaids. I have 6 bridesmaids to his 12 groomsmen He has a big group of friends that he grew up with since he was 6yrs old and it was important to him not to leave any of them out. Although, I dont love that it's not equal I'm just happy that all of our closest friends and family will be involved (and crossing my fingers it doesn't look too silly ) Our wedding party is mostly all friends except my moh who is my sister and fh's bm who is his brother.

we have 6 and 6.. 2 MOHs and 2 BM which worked out perfect.

its more friends than family just his two brothers my sister and FSIL.

we have 2 moh and 2 bm too! how are you going to do the speeches? are both they all going to give them or do co-speeches?

We have 7 girls and 8 guys. Mostly friends.

13 people in our bridal party.
My girls: best friend (MOH), my 2 sisters, FH sister, my neice and his neice. FH neice is FG.
His guys: his brother(BM), 2 bothers, 1 friend and 2 nephews.

I have so many lol - I had the same issue as your FH. I have 2 MOH and 10 BM. He has 2 BM and 8 GM. So we are uneven too. No biggie. I am sending two girls with a guy, twice.

We were even at one point, but then I did a last minute add on (one of my best friends is in med school and wasn't sure if she'd be able to make it but turns out she is) and I added my FH SIL (which I regret b/c she didn't even come to my shower and we barely even talk). Whatever, it didnt feel right having my SIL and not his.

We're very uneven, I have 2 girls and he has 6 guys. Plus 1 FG & 1 RB The only family members are his 1 brother and his niece and nephew are the FB & FG

My BM's are my closest friends, my FH has 4 sisters so I opted to not have them in party
The GM are a mix of family and friends
Flower Girl is my niece! :)

1 BM (Fh's best friend)

24 people total. It's a lot but there was no one that I could leave out.
It's really half fam and half friends.

so far it's perfectly equal! I hope it stays this way because I like things to look even lol.

I have 1 MOH 1 Matron of Honor
7 Bridesmaids
He has 1 BM
6 Groomsmen
2 Jr Bridesmaids
1 Flower girl

We both have really big families and didnt want to leave anyone important out. We have a few friends in the wedding party but its like 70% Family 30% friends :)

I have 4 bridemaids (my 2 sisters, my best friend sine I'm 8 and my FSIL) & 1 MOH (my sister) & FH has 1 BM (his brother) and 5 groomsmen (my 2 brothers, my BIL and his 2 best friends since her was 10).

We also have 2 FGs (my 2 adorable nieces) and 2 RBs (FH's 2 little cousins)

It was important to us to really just have people that we know will be in our lives forever.

Our BP is mostly family. 3 people in the BP aren't family but they are very close friends.
