QOTD 10.23.13

Good Morning!! Off to another super long day at work.

Every day I feel like FH and I are talking about our ever growing guest list. It seems like every time we turn around we are adding someone else. I swear I told FH we are not allowed to make any new friends this year and should seriously consider being less popular lol. So to lighten what I'm sure is everyone's guest list stress; Let's see how creative we all could be with this question!:

Which three celebrities or historical figures (living or dead) would you add to your guest list to make your wedding the wedding of the year!?

1. Justin Timberlake. Because he is amazing. Enough said honestly.
2. Prince William and Kate Middleton. I am so obsessed with them and the Royal Family. They are such a beautiful couple and so classy and I'm sure they would so fit in with this elegant affair that is taking two years for me to plan lol.
3. Shakespeare. What would be better after our Best Man and MOH toasts then for Shakespeare to get up and recite a sonnet for us!

Is it weird to say I wouldn't want any one too famous since they'd steal FH + I's thunder??

If we had to pick, I think this would be our list:

1. The Black Keys - Their music is so good and would definitely get people dancing around. Plus it would be so cool to have them perform our song for our first dance.

2. James Franco - FH has a man crush on him in the worst way. He's said he'd love to have James Franco be his BM several times.

3. Goats - This is sort of a joke between FH and I. He knows I'm obsessed with goats and having them as pets. I had devised a whole (fake) plan that we should have a floating petting zoo at our wedding. We could get a boat to come to the dock at Bridgeview and we could load it up with fun animals and people could visit the petting zoo whilst partying. Needless to say, FH didn't want to humor this idea at all ahahahahaha

QOTD 10.23.13 - Long Island Weddings

1. Amy Winehouse - because I'd love to hear her perform live and what better occasion than the biggest day of our lives?
2. Michael Jackson - because he'd get everyone dancing.
3. Chelsea Handler - because she would inspire people to do shots and make arses of themselves.

1. Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. I've been obsessed with I Love Lucy since I was 9 years old and even though they ended up getting a divorce, I still think they'd come together since they never stopped loving each other. Plus, Lucille Ball is my idol.

2. U2 - My all-time favorite band! And if they happened to perform, I think everyone would enjoy it.

3. Eli Manning - This one's for FH. Even though the Giants are having a terrible season, Eli is FH's football hero.

Ooh, fun question!

1. I second your Justin Timberlake vote. He could perform his hit songs (and then join us on the honeymoon...but only if he wants)

2. Jesus. We're Catholic and so technically we are of the mindset that He'll be there in spirit and all that good stuff...but why not physically there?

3. Walt Disney haha....we're huge Disney fans.

They still are to me! Watching them together in the earlier seasons of the show makes me so happy. You could tell how in love they were and that it was so much more than just acting. That show can ALWAYS make me laugh, even when I don't feel like smiling!
