Good morning everyone! I'm off from work today so I'm actually trying to have a relaxing do nothing day. Yesterday's answers were so fun to read but I know I really made you think so let's do some simple fill in the blanks today! lol

The best part about wedding planning has been spending time with FH to plan the most perfect day. We have made every decision together and are so happy with how the day is shaping up.

The worst part about wedding planning has been logistics. Where we'll all get ready, how many people we're inviting, how much to ask everyone to spend on BM dresses, how everyone we'll get there etc.

When I think about my wedding I feel like all my dreams are coming true. Cheesy, I know, but I'll be 30 when I'm married and honestly feel like I've planned for this wedding my whole life.

The thing I'm most excited for about married life is never having to date again! I was bad at it and the idea that I get to come home to the same man everyday and we can just sit on the couch and do nothing sounds amazing.

The thing I'm most anxious about for married life is I think this officially makes me a grownup? No more single life, I'm somebody's wife and I guess I have to act like one

The thing I've learned about my FH during this whole process has been something I already knew. He would move the moon for me if I wanted. He goes out of his way to make me happy and I couldn't be luckier!

The best part about wedding planning has been not having to say 'if we get married' but now saying 'for the wedding...'

The worst part about wedding planning has been waiting what feels like way too long for the wedding day to come! I never wanted a long engagement and due to the fact that we wanted a fall wedding but got engaged in the winter, we are having a 1 year 8 month engagement! It feels like it's dragging!

When I think about my wedding I feel utter excitement to be walking down the aisle to my man!

The thing I'm most excited for about married life is being called his wife and starting our family together.

The thing I'm most anxious about for married life is nothing -- In my head I already am married but without the formalities and paperwork.

The thing I've learned about my FH during this whole process has been he has amazing family values and our outlook on things is perfectly in sync. A lot of conversations have come up that normally never would have, and it's amazing to learn more about how the person you love feels about certain topics.

The best part about wedding planning has been spending so much time planning everything with both of our families. I really love that our parents want to be as involved as we are. We're even all going out together after our food tasting this weekend


The worst part about wedding planning has been realizing how expensive everything is! It's really insane and very stressful.


When I think about my wedding I feel excited. I love that we have so many personal touches. Each time I add something personalized, I love that I know that our wedding will be different than all other weddings we've been too because we've really chosen everything together and based on our tastes.


The thing I'm most excited for about married life is just starting that time in my life with FH. We've been together for six years and it's definitely getting to the point that we need a place of our own.


The thing I'm most anxious about for married life is not living at home anymore. I'm SUPER close with my family and even though I've lived on my own when I was away at school, it was always under the assumption that I would be returning home. As excited as I am to live with FH, I'm nervous about making a new place my 'home' and my comfort zone.


The thing I've learned about my FH during this whole process has been that he really does go out of his way to make me happy. I know that for a guy, going to see a DJ or a photographer probably isn't very exciting - but he's been so great and done everything I've asked him to with a smile - sometimes without even having to ask!

The best part about wedding planning has been meeting new friends. I can't imagine going through this process all on my own!

The worst part about wedding planning has been stressing out over the expense and the timeline. I am not the most organized or decisive person, so I knew this would be the hardest part for me.

When I think about my wedding I feel excited, but anxious too.

The thing I'm most excited for about married life is trying to start our family.

The thing I'm most anxious about for married life is that anything will change. We've lived together for so long that neither of us expect marriage to change the dynamic of our relationship or negatively impact us in any way...I hope we're right!

QOTD 10.24.13 - Long Island Weddings

The best part about wedding planning has been bonding with fh in a new way. we have planned everything together so far and are finding we are on the same page for all of it which suprises me a bit but also makes me realize we are even more compatible than we thought. We work together as a team.

The worst part about wedding planning has been guest list and day of timeline. We dread the guest list it has been the one big pain so far. We had an engagement party a small one we did not invite everyone who was going to the wedding but close family and friends. Some family who did not live hear saw the pictures on fb and started in with me about not being invited and would let it go. Our families saying we have to invite people who we don't talk to or see when we are paying for the wedding.

When I think about my wedding I get super excited. I get to marry my best friend and start a new chapter in our lives. I just hit the one year mark last week so I have been extra excited lately knowing it's closer now it's really happening lol.

The thing I'm most excited for about married life is coming home to someone I know who loves me and knowing I got someone in my corner for everything life throws at me. We were at a bar recently while we were in Salem and I was soooo thankful I have found my fh cause I am so over the bar scene for meeting people and all that. I actually turned to him and was like omg I love you and so thankful I have you! lol


The thing I'm most anxious about for married life is remembering to write my new last name I feel like that is going to trip me up a lot lol. I am so use to and trained to write and respond to my maiden name. I feel like I won't respond to my married lol.

The thing I've learned about my FH during this whole process is he will do anything to make me happy and when I stress he does everything he can to calm me down and try to relieve what I am stressing about. I am very lucky.

The best part about wedding planning has been everything!! I love all the planning and finally seeing all of my thoughts and ideas pan out in real life and having FH doing it with me.

The worst part about wedding planning has been knowing which vendors were the right ones to choose, there's so many choices for everything.

When I think about my wedding I feel super excited. FH and I have been together for many years so finally my dream of marrying him is coming true. I can’t wait to see his face as I walk down the aisle in the church, it’s a moment I keep envisioning over and over again.

The thing I'm most excited for about married life is having our own family. I just can’t wait for when there’s 3 of us.

The thing I'm most anxious about for married life is getting on his health insurance lol. FH has better insurance than I do and I’m sick of paying for it every month.

The thing I've learned about my FH during this whole process has been how much he loves me and wants me to be happy. I have been able to have everything I want for our wedding and if it was over budget he says it’s ok I just want to see you smiling. God I love this man!!

The best part about wedding planning has been ... The bonding over the different aspects. I may do the research but once I present it to him, it's fun to check them out. Feels like one mini adventure after the other.

The worst part about wedding planning has been .... Trying to figure out the timeline for the day of.

When I think about my wedding I feel ... Excited and impatient. I wish it were tomorrow.

The thing I'm most excited for about married life is .... Starting a family.

The thing I'm most anxious about for married life is ... Figuring out where we are gonna live!

The thing I've learned about my FH during this whole process has been .... Nothing I didn't already know! And as much as he wanted a big wedding more than I did, guys are still guys and some things just don't matter to them, like a how the flower arrangements will look. That's what girlfriends are for, lol

QOTD 10.24.13 - Long Island Weddings

The best part about wedding planning has been: So far, the engagement pictures we just took with our photographer! it was so much fun and just reassured us that we made the right choice and picked an amazing photographer.

The worst part about wedding planning has been: making appointments to meet with different vendors on top of my busy work and school schedule. Also it is difficult because FH and I do not live together yet so we have to always compare schedules to make sure we are both available.

When I think about my wedding I feel: EXCITED and also nervous because I want everything to go smoothly and I want guests to have fun!

The thing I'm most excited for about married life is: sharing everything with FH. Eventually buying a house, a dog, and starting our own family :)

The thing I'm most anxious about for married life is: being called his WIFE!

The thing I've learned about my FH during this whole process has been: How similar our tastes are! the wedding planning process has been pretty easy going because we both agree on a lot of things and share the same opinions it just makes things so much easier.

QOTD 10.24.13 - Long Island Weddings

The best part about wedding planning has been doing everything together. There is not one thing that he doesn't want to be involved in and help to make a decision on. Even if there are certain aspects that don't 'matter' to him, he always wants to help out in any way that he can. It has made this process go so easy because we are thinking about it as OUR wedding!!

The worst part about wedding planning has been the cost. Everything can be super expensive when it comes to a wedding, so you try to cut corners, leave the less important things out because it is important to remember it is only one day and it is the marriage that actually lasts! With that being said, I'm sure ALL of us would agree that if we had all the money in the world, we could find PLENTY of things to spend it on- frivolous or not! lol

When I think about my wedding I feel completely overjoyed. I feel like I've been planning everyone else's wedding but my own for the past 10 years and I can't believe it is actually my turn finally!! I can't believe I found a man as amazing as my FH and I can't believe he wants to marry me too!! haha

The thing I'm most excited for about married life is starting our journey together as husband and wife. Looking forward to every exciting adventure- moving, home buying, having babies, teaching those babies to be young adults, vacations, trying new things, inspiring each other, new jobs etc. It will all be wonderful simply bc he will be by my side!

The thing I'm most anxious about for married life is getting stuck. I don't ever want to feel so comfortable that it gets boring and monotonous. I always want to try our best to keep it fresh and alive and keep trying new things with one another.

The thing I've learned about my FH during this whole process has been how unbelievably patient that man is! With me, with decisions, with ideas... the list goes on. He knows how to calm me down, and wait it out till the storm passes lol

The best part about wedding planning has been...being called 'the Bride' by just about everyone. I feel like a celebrity!
The worst part about wedding planning has been trying to lose weight. I have 5 more pounds to go and I'm starting a juice cleanse next week. I'm going to be one major B * t c h!

The thing I'm most anxious about for married life is loosing my last name and going through the process of changing it.

The best part about wedding planning has been just making my dreams come true. I never knew how much fun I'd have doing all of this and i literally never want it to end.

The worst part about wedding planning has been dealing with people who aren't that enthusiastic about the whole thing, particularly FIL's. Sometimes that can be very disheartening.

When I think about my wedding I feel HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY EXCITED!

The thing I'm most excited for about married life is not having to split my time between LI and NJ. Having one place to live (NJ) and not having to constantly be going back and forth. and BABIES!!

The thing I'm most anxious about for married life is keeping the house clean!!!!!

The thing I've learned about my FH during this whole process has been he has much stronger opinions than I ever thought he would, but he truly wants me to have the best day ever and is making sure I get whatever I want.

1. The best part about wedding planning has been bonding with my mom and FMIL... I feel like I have gotten so much closer to them both. My mom and I don't really get along that much, so it's been nice to be on the same page for once lol, and my FMIL and I get along great and I'm just enjoying bonding even more with her.

2. The worst part about wedding planning has been making the guest list! I feel like we keep adding people everyday, and it's starting to stress me out because I am finding it harder and harder to keep the list organized. I keep having nightmares that I forgot to invite someone on the list.

3. When I think about my wedding I feel anxious and excited. I don't like all eyes on me, so walking down the aisle and saying vows in front of over 175 people makes me really nervous and anxious, but I'm excited about the party afterwards lol!!!

4. The thing I'm most excited for about married life is living together. We just bought a home, and I'm looking forward to moving in and being able to go to bed and wake up with my FH. I'm also excited about working on the house together!


5. The thing I'm most anxious about for married life is MONEY. I am finishing grad school in December, and hopefully I will get a good job right away, but I'm worried about mortgage payments and everything. Luckily, our mortgage is just based on my FH's salary, so whatever I make in my new job will be extra $$ on the side and that should help immensely

6. The thing I've learned about my FH during this whole process has been.. nothing lol- we've been dating for 6.5 years, I haven't learned anything new really

QOTD 10.24.13 - Long Island Weddings

The best part about wedding planning has been probably buying my dress. Because of my long term planning and long distance planning, I havent had many true 'bridal' moments. Being in the shop with my mom and my sister, coming out in my dress, and watching their reactions was priceless.

The worst part about wedding planning has been letting the family in on the plans. I never knew I would be so on edge, but I have gotten really frustrated because not once has a conversation with FIL led to an 'oh, that sounds great!' its always 'how much?' 'well, how far is it?' 'are you sure you need that?' 'what you really should do is..' Come on people!

When I think about my wedding I feel right now, mostly nervous. Its all related to the finances.

The thing I'm most excited for about married life is planning for the future. We have been anticipating our marriage for so long (when are we going to get engaged, a 3 year engagement) that it will be interesting to switch to enjoying our partnership and eventually planning for children.

The thing I'm most anxious about for married life is funding the married life I would like. I always imagined gettng married young and traveling the world before settling down for children. I am just not sure this will be how it works out lol

The thing I've learned about my FH during this whole process has been he really means it when he says he doesnt care about this wedding stuff lol. It makes me mad sometimes, but other times I appreciate it when I get my top choices :)
