**QOTD: 10.10.11**

Thanks again to Lisamarie for choosing me as BOTW!

Here is my first question as BOTW:

If you could have any person in the world, alive or deceased, at your wedding who would it be?

For me it would without a doubt be my grandpa. I grew up with him being downstairs from me and didn't move out until I was 21. Needless to say, we were extremely close. Losing him was by far the most difficult thing I've ever had to deal with, and honestly I will never be over it. I would give anything to have him at my wedding.

Don't feel pressured to give a serious answer!! By all means if your choice is Michael Jackson, say so!

You're welcome :)

I would definitely have my grandfather's there. I never met either one of them and I know that my paternal grandfather was CRAZY over me and he named his 'princes' from the moment he met me at the hospital. He passed when I was 5 months old and til this dayI cry when I think of the time that has been lost and that I couldn't experience having him in my life. :(

Too emotional for me

While I absolutely adored my grandfather and grandmothers who have passed, honestly, I had a very long and fulfilling relationship with them. I guess I'd have to give up my choice to FH. My choice would be FH's brother. He passed away over a decade ago, and I never got to meet him. Clearly his death was very unexpected and tragic. I wish I had gotten a chance to meet him.

Awww that is soooo sweet of you!!! I can tell you LOVE your FH! You gave up your choice and that's exactly what marriage is all about!!!! (I'm learning this)

I would definitely choose my father. He and I didn't have the best relationship while he was alive, but I always imagined him at my wedding and I know he would be proud.

I would say FH Mother. She died when Fh was three. She had a heart attack during a kidney transplant (FH grandfather was the donor)

Just sadden me!! and to see his face, to have one day with her again, means the world to me

Thanks. I really do! I wish I would have gotten to meet his brother. To this day (like 13 years later), it hits FH in waves once in awhile. He was in a car accident on the way to school when he was in high school. FH gets really anxious whenever we pass a car accident, and clearly, has a rough time with me driving from Queens to the Bronx for work every day.

Without a doubt my FH's mom. I know it is going to be hard for him not having her there.

My grandparents on my dad's side, absolutely. I was very close with them growing up and we had a great relationship. They passed away when I was in middle school, so they've missed so many things and I really just wish they could be here for the biggest day!

This is a really sad question!!!! Ugh...

I would have to say I would love FH's sister to be able to come. She has a brain tumor and is not doing well. We don't even know if she will still be here by the time we get married. Ugh, it really sucks. FH was closest to her out of his 6 siblings and I know whatever will happen next September, it will be a sad day without her at the wedding :(

My brother. He was my only sibling and absolutely my best friend. He passed away in a car accident. Hoping to not get overly emotional on the day of (I'm not an emotional person). I would give anything for him to be there but I know he will be in spirit!

Although sad, this is a great question because I've been trying to think of something special (but not too in your face) to honor him. I was thinking a small toast to all those who can't be with us but are here in spirit, or I saw at one wedding a 'in lieu of favors a donation has been made to XYZ charity' and I was thinking we could do that for his memorial scholarship fund.' However, I think we are having favors so any other ideas?

If I could pick only one person it would be my mother. Words cannot describe how much I miss her and wish she was here to share in this whole process.

I am putting a picture of my grandfathers on my bouquet. So they can be 'close' to me the whole day.

I would love to have my grandmother there as she passed away when I was four. I knew her well and remember much of her today, but if I had to choose one person. I would give this honor to my FH's grandfather whom he is named after. His grandfather was the poncho of his whole family and to see both his face and his nonna's face would be worth a thousand words.

May you all rest in peace <3 we miss you all!!

My grandmother from my mom's side. I never met her b/c she passed away way before I was even born. But i would have loved for her to see me get married and be by mothers side during this joyous occassion.
