I would go back to when my Grandpa was alive. I miss him. I wish that he could have met FH. I know he would have loved him.

oh hands down...best grandpa story ever.
when I was 8, we had grandparents and friends day at school. i was so excited. i wrote a story complete w a pic of him hailing a cab. I called my grandmother and she told me that she was sorry but he was going to be in FL that day for business.
I was crushed. I didn't want to go to school that day. I was going to be the only kid there with no one there for me. I threw a fit, sobbing but my mom, as a teacher made me go.
so, that day all the grandpas came and they were old and wore plaid golf pants and had grey or white hair. I sat in my seat alone. :(
It became my turn to read my story. I was devastated. NO grandpa to read it to.
I stood up at the front of the class and standing there in the back of the room, in his custom fitted suit was my grandpa. he was the only one with black hair and he looked so young. I read my story and everyone was so impressed with him when i ran back to hug him. My best friend still talks about it.
he flew up just for my school event and flew back down right after for his meetings.
I miss him. he was my hero.

in hindsight, i can see and thank god that it worked out for he best b/c i found FH right afterwards, but i think i could go back and not waste so much time the way i did with my ex and have been hurt, emotionally, mentally....
the things that were done to me and my family - i wouldn't wishit on my worst enemy.
I would also tell him and his family, especially his mom - to eff off!
I am sorry you went through this, but like you said it brought you to ur FH and ur happier now :)

I would go back in time to when my grandfather was alive. Any time with him was perfect. He was the rock of the family and since he passed away 3 years ago, everything has been falling apart. I wish he was here to be with me on my wedding day and throughout my wedding plans too. ![]()

i would go back to my second year of college for a couple reaons...one i would totally pick a different major and totally do better in school, two it was the year one of my really good friends passed and i wish i just had one extra day to tell him how much i loved him

Me three. He died 15 years ago, and I still never really got over it. I miss him calling me 'Daniela' and taking walks through his garden. He was probably one of the most influential men in my life
FH shares the same birthday as my grandpa, and I don't think it's a coincidence.....thanks grandpa

What a hard question to answer. If I could go back in time, I would probably pick when I was around 9. Before my best friend moved away. We had so much fun playing kick the can, round robin, manhunt and soccer together. No worries in the world. We still remain long distance friends after 31 years!
Another time would definitely be before my brother passed away, going on 5 yrs this Oct 27th.![]()
One more time to tell him I loved him and he would say 'Aloha' back.![]()
He lived in Hawaii- moved there after he graduated h.s.
