I was talking to my co-worker yesterday and she was telling me that there are certain topics her and her boyfriend just don't discuss. That they are off limits or too disgusting. Which leads to this question.

FH says we are sometimes too open. He tells me about his gas issues and I talk too openly about how my cramps are trying to kill me and I'm bleeding like a sive. It wasn't always like that in the beginning we were not like that but over the last 5 years it has evolved into there are no taboo topics. Emotionally I try not to talk about his family or vice versa bc that is a sore subject but we still do it. We are an old married couple and we haven't even said 'I Do' yet.

we are way too open with each other. We talk about everything and anything. Weather it is something physical hair removal, gas (him), tampon buying, various aches and pains etc etc etc. Or if its emotional, we tell each other everything, maybe even more than necessary. That's why this Saturday FH made a rule that we were both innocent and pure prior to getting together, thus nothing ever happened, so there is nothing to talk about LOL
I love the openness between us, I really don't think there is anything I wouldn't want to discuss or talk about with FH.

FH and I are the same when it comes to talking...we share everything. We are honest and open about pretty much everything, which works for us

ITA!! The ONLY thing I can't discuss is the bathroom issue.....FH doesn't believe ANY girl, especially me, his mom and sister, uses the bathroom EVER....Don't know what he is going to do when we move in together! lol

We talk about everything now. In the beginning FH was weird when exes would come up but now he's way past that. Nothing is off topic for us!

FH is, if anything, a little TOO open sometimes. LOL. This Saturday he woke me up by doing naked yoga by the side of the bed. Let me tell you- there are some angles a man should never be seen from.
In all honesty though, FH probably knows me best out of anyone- he's my best friend and we really truly do tell each other everything.

We are extremely open with each other. The first few months of us being together were extremely hard because there were so many issues going on, but we always had the agreement that we wouldn't lie to each other and we would just talk about everything like we always had when we were friends. That still stands for us today, but I do have to say that one sore subject would be my ex-boyfriend and our old group of friends. I had left that guy to be with FH and our friends turned their backs on us pretty much even though they all saw how horrible this guy treated me, and they were best friends with FH for so many years. So that's a topic that we just don't speak about much...

And we'll talk about it anywhere too...we've had serious discussions while I or he are on the toilet taking a dump.
