I haven't actually had an 'official' relationship before FH, but I did have some casual things. The main one taught me pretty much not to trust (other woman situation). It taught me not to do things to please a guy, because if you don't show yourself respect, you won't gain respect.

Basically I've applied this to my relationship with FH because I set up ground rules from the beginning, and I'm lucky enough that FH is actually a great guy who shows me respect. I know he's not cheating on his gf with me (I think after 4 years his family would have tipped me off lol), and I know that he won't drop me because of my ground rules.

ETA: on rereading this it almost seems like I was aware of what was going on. I definitely was NOT, I'm no homewrecker.

well before I met FH I was in 2 bad relationships , I had been through more crap with these guys it really messed me up in the head, so i had major trust issues. When I first met FH i put up a huge wall and didnt fully let him in. I even broke up with him for a day. WHen we went back out I made a promice to him and to me that I wouldnt compare him to my past relationships and that I would stop assuming he was going to hurt me to. After that I was completly inlove with him and have been happy ever since, exept when he pisses me off lollll

I've learned not to let the relationship get dull lol.... you will always need to try and do new things and keep the fire burning Don't be with someone that just makes you comfortable, but be with someone who brings out the best in you!
