*****QOTD 10.16.10.*****
Good Morning!!! I am in a great mood! More people answered my post on which way to roll the toilet paper than my QOTD yesterday. lol No but really I am in a good mood and i hope everyone else is too .
Okay ladies lets talk Wedding Superstitions and traditions. I was reading an article last night about wedding superstitions.
Some I read were absurd
EX: “He will love you if you serve him one of these potions: a bowl of soup with three drop of your blood in it. a glass of lemonade that contains your fingernail filings or has had your toenail clippings soaked in it.” that has to be fake, am I a witch?!? No offense to anyone who has done this!
And others were horrible to think about (personal opinion)!!!! Ex: The spouse who goes to sleep first on the wedding night will die first. Or its good luck if there is a spider in your dress!!! uggh
Upon doing more research (yep I am a loser) I found a lot of contradicting ones like whether it is good or bad luck for it to rain on your wedding day and which way the hands on the clock should be facing when you say your vows.
There are also fun and family traditions superstitions. Like Something old, new, borrowed, blue, sixpence. Not letting the groom see your dress, or saving the top layer of your cake for your 1st anniversary ect.
So my Question is
What superstitions/traditions do you believe in or are you taking part in?
Post other superstitions have you heard of?
Enjoy your day girls!!!
