FH and I had a huge fight a couple of months ago. He was showing no interest in the wedding and everything was 'I don't care, do whatever'.
Which leads to this question.

How involved is FH in the whole planning process? Has yours turned into groomzilla?

After our fight FH has been a lot more involved. He's not much into calling vendors but he is very into giving his opinion about his likes and his dislikes and he no longer complains when we go to vendor meetings. He's even given me a detailed list of his dislikes which I very much appreciate. I find planning budget wise much simpler now that FH is on board.

My FH has been involved when I need him to be. If I'm busy with work and need him to make calls, I just ask, and he does it. He knows it's not worth dealing with me being a stressball bc I dont have time and start freaking out lol.
Everything I pick, I run by him to make sure he likes it. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't - and will tell me why - which is very helpful.
He was also VERY good about being involved when we switched RH's.

Fh is very involved with what he considers the big stuff, like picking vendors. He is almost soley in charge of music related stuff like video music, ceremony music, cocktail hour music, etc.. since he is a musician

He is not really a groomszilla at all...

When we first got engaged, he said he wanted to be involved in everything. Now...not so much lol. He says I will do whatever I want any way....& he is right

FH is involved quite a bit. He doesn't want to do initial research (he works 12-16 hour days sometimes!) so basically I'll start looking up, say, photogs and narrow it down to a few that I think we should meet with, based on prices and reviews and style. Then I'll show him the websites and we'll talk about them - what we like and don't like. Then I'll make appointments for us to meet with them.
We collectively selected the colors. A color I really wanted to use (purple) was one he really didn't want to use...so we compromised and it'll be maybe a third accent color. I really like the colors we came up with though, so who knows!
He picked out two honeymoon spots that we've talked about going to...last week we sat and discussed them and narrowed it down to one.
He's very much into the cake - design and flavors. That's cool with me - if he wants that as his project, so be it. I'm glad he's interested in something.
We want to do donation favors, and we're going to split it between two organizations: one that is close to his heart, and one that's close to mine.
It's all about compromise. It's OUR wedding, not MY wedding.

My FH is very involved. We make 98% of the decisions together. Its been pretty easy so far, knock on wood.

He's pretty involved. He came with me to meet every vendor and go over details, and he knows everything that's going on. He is a graphic designer so he actually created our invitations, menus, rsvps, etc.. so they have a unique touch to them and we absolutely love them!

I have a small groomzilla on my hands. he is very opinionated about what he like/dislikes and wants/doesnt want.
we talk about the wedding all the time, non stop and discuss various ends of the wedding in excruciating detail. he also is in charge of certain aspects and researches it even better than me.
so ye, he is very involved, tho when we just got engaged he didnt want even to hear the word wedding LOL

basically i do all the research and fh helps decide lol. but he's into it. he doesn't complain if i ask him to go look at flowers or rings! he drives down to RH alone to make payments if i'm bussy. and he's excited about getting a suite, which he knows what style he wants!

fh has been pretty involved. I research things and then he comes to most appointments. I let him to pick the limos and I went shopping around for florists since he doesnt care about flowers.

My FH isn't really involved at all. He came to halls and vendor appointments, but that's about it.

FH is involved in the major decisions...RH, band, photographer etc. I booked the florist on my own, but he will help make final decisions on centerpieces. I pretty much run the small details by him -- but he doesnt get overly involved in them
