Morning!!!

Yesterday I was looking through photos of the cruise FH and I went on this past June when we got engaged and it sparked this QOTD!!

What was the best vacation you ever went on with FH? What made the trip so memorable?

For brides who have never vacationed with FH - Where would you like to go on your first vacation with FH? Would you like to do a lot of sightseeing, relaxing, or a little of both?

This is a tough question for me. Two of the trips that we took were absolutely amazing!

The trip we just took this past June was when FH proposed to me. It was definitely a trip that I will remember forever! We also had a great time relaxing on the beach, having fun, and enjoying our first week of being engaged!!

However, the trip that I would have to say we had the most fun on was our trip to Cancun, Mexico last January. We had soooo much fun dancing, listening to bands, swimming, getting massages, and spending time together! It was just non-stop fun and we can't wait to return! It's funny though because for the second half of the week we were there it was very windy and cool out so we couldn't go into the water or hang out at the beach (too cold). But we both still agree that we had the most fun on that trip!

Therefore, the trip that was probably most memorable for me was our cruise that we got engaged on, and the trip that was the most fun was our trip to Cancun! FH and I LOVE going on vacation. We don't live with each other so going on vacation is extra special because we get to spend all of our time together.

this is a tough one for me too bc vacations are always amazing and each one is memerable for different reasons, but I think our trip to Punta Cana was the best one. We had just graduated college. He had a teaching job lined up in CT and applied to dental school for the following year. I was going to start my job 2 weeks after we got back from vacation. It was my birthday...there were just so many exciting things going on in our lives and we felt like this was the beginning of our new adventure! It was also our first time to the Caribbean. We went parasailing, laid on the beach, snorkeled with sharks and stingrays, and some other excursions. It was just sooo much fun and its sooo beautiful down there!
Also, obviously, Montauk will always have a special place in my heart since that's where we got engaged! That was more of a weekend getaway tho, so I'd have to say that Punta Cana was our fav vaca!

Both were awesome for different reasons!

Disney is special because it was our first real vacation.

But, I'm Gonna go with the cruise...
Amazing!!!! Went to Key West, Mexico and Belize. Every stop we went on an excursion. Key west we went kayaking - HYSTERICAL! I was in the front and kept soaking him! Mexico Snorkeling (I choked to death on water lol) , and in Belize we went for a hike in the jungle and then Cave Tubing. It was just beautiful.

I think the trip we took to Boston last week was the most relaxing/enjoyable.

But of course, Disney and Bermuda were wonderful! I just feel like we didn't rest much on those trips.

Jamaica hands down... we've been a lot of places together (min vacays and long vacays) and I have to say that was the most relaxing and memorable one we've been on together. Hence the reason we are going back there for our HM

What was the best vacation you ever went on with FH? What made the trip so memorable?

When we first started dating we drove to Niagara Falls with my friend and her boyfriend (who are married now!).

We had such a great time, it was so romantic. We had only been dating a few months but I think it was on this trip that I realized I was in love with him.

1st we went to Lake George for a few days, then drove on to Canada and once we got there we pretty much separated from my girlfriend, and the falls are just so romantic at night.

FH and I love vacationing together too!!! even though he is kinda afraid of flying...which doesn't make too much sense since he is from an island and has to fly always to go anywhere hehe

anyways i think our best vacation for sure was the weekend we got engaged this past february in Puerto Vallarta, Mex. For FH and I Puerto Vallarta is only about 4 hrs from where we go to school in guadalajara and we decided to take a long weekend/mini-break to get some sun and go whale watching since the winter is the time all the humpbacks are down in mexico's pacific. we had such a great time going on a sailboat for the day seeing loads of whales, eating homemade guacamole, going snorkeling in the freezing water and having drinks on the boat. That night he proposed in our hotel room while we were celebrating Valentines' day! the rest of the weekend we had such a blast and i was in utter shock letting it all sink in but we were both so happy.

other top vacays were when we went with my family to Culebra, an island off of Puerto Rico (paradise)!!! and when we went up to Vermont skiing together..so cute to watch the Puerto Rican try to snowboard!!

FH and I have been on so many vacations and each was as memorable as the next. I dont think i can pick just one bc they were each special in their own way. To name a few.....
Last year we went to Jamaica, just he 2 of us, and had an amazing time meeting new people and doing all of the excursions!
This past may we went to Mexico with my MOH and her boyfriend and had a blast!!! It was really great to be in the company of my best friend and my fiance while vacationing, I had the best of both worlds!! (we were also recently engaged while on this vacation!)
The most recent was out trip to Hershey park (we are like big kids). We stayed at the most beautiful bed and breakfast and it was so romantic!! We will def be returning there soon!
So I guess i didnt really anwer the question lol, they are all memorable to me but for different reasons

The 2 best trips we ever took were:

1st ~ trip to DR when we were dating about 6 months..it was a blast..we drank, sat on the beach and went scuba-diving

2nd ~ Last year when I had to convience him to come with me and the kids to FL..he hates the heat..well we went and spent a week..it was awesome..he still talks about what a good time he had
