QOTD 10/24

Good Morning Ladies! TGIF!!!! I hope you all enjoyed your week so far. Here is the qotd for today!

Are you giving your parents a gift at or before your wedding?

If so what are you getting them?

I was thinking of getting my the lenox 'a mothers loving touch'

as for my dad I'm not sure yet

yes, we will DEFINITELY be getting our parents gifts. havent given much thought as to what though..
maybe tickets to a broadway show and dinner? or a night at atlantic city?

as far as i know my family does not give gifts to the parents. so we will probally just give the parents a picture framed of us from the wedding.

I'll be getting them something. As to what I'm not sure. It will have to be seperate gifts since they are divorced.... I can't even have them sit at the same table. I've dreaded the day that I would have to start planning a wedding because of their situation.

I am def giving them part of their gift before the wedding...I have been looking at picture frames that say today a bride...always your little girl...but im not sure what else yet

Thank you. Only real family i have left, i'm an only child, my dad is gone and my grandmother who was like a mom to me also passed away several years ago. My mom is the only one i have left.

i honestly wouldn't know what to get my parents. My mother is the HARDEST person to shop for.. for xmas, bdays, mothers day... she doesn't really like anything! lol. I usually always end up giving her a gift certificate to the salon where she cuts her hair! lol i know im so original.

So so sorry to hear that!!

I am in a similar situation, mom, dad passed away several years ago, and no grandparents... so I'll be getting my mom something really special... I just don't know what, yet.

We'll be getting FHs parents something too. I think this is a great idea. To me, it shows appreciation to your parents for raising you to become wonderful adults. Even if it's not a big gift I want to get everyone something really special.
