Thank you. Only real family i have left, i'm an only child, my dad is gone and my grandmother who was like a mom to me also passed away several years ago. My mom is the only one i have left.

I am in a similar situation, mom, dad passed away several years ago, and no grandparents... so I'll be getting my mom something really special... I just don't know what, yet.
We'll be getting FHs parents something too. I think this is a great idea. To me, it shows appreciation to your parents for raising you to become wonderful adults. Even if it's not a big gift I want to get everyone something really special.
Thank you ....it's really tough to deal with something like that...but thankfully we at least have our moms .I'll probably get FHs parents something also, i have no clue yet as to what lol

I'll be getting them something. As to what I'm not sure. It will have to be seperate gifts since they are divorced.... I can't even have them sit at the same table. I've dreaded the day that I would have to start planning a wedding because of their situation.
me too, i think i'll cross those bridges when i get there have no idea what gifts yet, but there definitely will be one.. maybe the photographer albums from our wedding might be a good one.

I plan to give them small sentimental things at the RD, and then after the wedding I want to give them a large framed pic of all of us from the wedding so they can put on their wall as well as a parent album. We'll do the same for FH's mom.

I'll probably do something nice for my parents since they are paying for most of the RH, invitations, my dress and some other things.
I wont be getting any gifts for FH's family. They arent helping with the costs.

FH's parents are great. They contribute so much - emotinally and financially. My family does what they can. So, we'll be getting gifts. Don't know what yet.

I haven't really thought about it yet but I probably will give them gifts because they are helping out so much with the cost of the wedding...plus they are my parents haha
