Good morning ladies, I couldn't think of a better question for today. I'm under a pile of work ( boo to work getting in my way lol)
What is your wedding theme? And how do you envision your day looking based on your theme?

Re: **QOTD 10/26/11**
My theme is 'FALL-ing in love'
I envision lots of deep fall colors, burgendy, browns, burnt oranges. My mom is decorating the front of her house with mums in that color scheme. My girls will be wearing cranberry dresses with ivory flowers and I will have an ivory dress with deep shades of cranberry flowers. I will have leaves built into lots of things (on my personalized cocktail napkins, on my cardbox, on the table numbers). Even though we are doing a donation favor we are probably giving maple candy as weel (in the shape of maple leaves).
I'll try to add some inspiration pictures later.

My theme is fairytale and I envision it to look very regal, romantic, and princess like. My wedding colors are blue and purple. Since I can't afford to have a horse and carriage I am having a carriage cardbox and favor box. Just like fairytales I want everything to feel magical. That is why I am adding little things like flowers blossoming in champagne for the toast. The lighting in the room changes color and it reminds me of sleeping beauty when the fairy godmothers were changing Aurora's dress and the whole room would change color.

Don't really have a set theme. I know I want everything to look elegant and romantic, though. I originally wanted a beachy-theme, so our colors are blue, tan and white. The girls are going to wear cobalt or royal and the guy's vests will match. I want lots of white flowers in the RH with candles.

My theme is winter wonderland- I think my RH helps with the theme becuase the room has a 'warm' feeling that can also be 'wintery' eeek! it's so soon!

I don't really have a theme but our colors are chocolate and ivory. I'd like everything to have a very classic feel.

Love this too! If i couldn't have the fall wedding I wanted winter. But that was impossible for FH's family. Parents live in Buffalo and so do a lot ofthe groomsmen so we didn't take a chance with them getting a ton of snow and not making it.

Re: **QOTD 10/26/11**
when we started planning we didnt have any set theme, just blue (bright colbalt) and silver. then as the planning started getting really into swing we accidentally came across our 'theme' we are both so into music (rock, metal mainly) that, that has pretty much become our theme. once we came across this everything just started falling into place and we have both been so excited about planning. that was the missing piece that we needed to really make this wedding 'us'

I want the day to just feel romantic with lots of pink peonies everywhere...I'll have candelabras on half of the tables and the other half will have big centerpieces with candles around them. Our colors are Navy, pink and silver.

My theme is Fall too!. I want our cake to be designed like birch wood, with edible fall colored leaves falling down it & our names carved in a heart (like on a tree) on the cake. My place card holders are little tree stumps & our favors will be caramel apples!. I want really rich colors..our venue has nice dark wood floors and ivory linens, so I won't have to do too much decorating besides centerpieces. We got a black bird cage to hold our cards with fall leaves cascading down it. Lots of plums, oranges, burgundy, wine, yellow and chocolate colors!

No theme...although I wish we had a cute one. Our colors are cobalt and various light pinks and blush. We want a modern feel to it. Maybe we'll think of a theme in the next few months! lol

My theme is the Mets. I do not want people to walk in to the place and think welcome to citi field but I want them to see the Mets around for some of the details.
For example. Our monogram is blue and orange and has that baseball feel but it is not a play off the Mets emblem.
