)Good morning!

What (if anything) are you doing to get yourselves looking your best physically before the big day?

Personally, I've been a crossfit junkie for about 2 years now. I've ramped up the workouts a bit...going from my usual 3x/week to 4x/week. I also found this great groupon for bikram (hot) yoga in Carle Place, so I've been doing that about 1x/week too.
I'm a dietitian by trade, so I usually eat pretty clean (save for Sunday football time ), but I've cut down my alcohol intake to 1 day/week. After the bachelorette party on January 4/5th, there will be no drinking until my wedding day 6 weeks later.....

i'm so proud of myself!

So I was actually getting upset cause no matter what I was gaining weight..Took a blood test cause people thought I might have a thyroid problem.. turns out I was diabetic.. Now that i am on meds cut out all soda and sweets I am finally starting to go in the right direction.. I am just hoping I do not have to exchange my wedding gown! LOL

I go to spin class 3x a week. But to be totally honest, since I started student teaching I have lost like 15 lbs without even trying! I am just so busy all the time and forget to eat because I'm always doing something at the school lol.. So hopefully the weight just continues to fall off :) I've gone from a 6 to a 2/4!

I had been unhappy with my weight for a while and when we got engaged it was the kick in the *** that I needed to get up and do something about it. The beginning of February I started with a Nutritional Cleansing program and I am SO thankful that I found this amazing team. At this point, I am happy I started it for LIFE, not just because I'm getting married! I feel a million times healthier and energized. I'm sleeping better and my anxiety has calmed down tremendously. On top of all those great feelings I was able to kick 36 pounds! I started running and signed up for 3 races this year alone! When I went to buy my wedding dress I didnt leave saying 'i need to loose 10 more pounds to comfortably wear this' and that felt awesome. Depending on our finances (we just bought a house!) I might want to get a trainer as we get closer to the wedding date.... but we'll have to wait and see if that is feasible.

As we get closer to the wedding, I plan on getting an amazing haircut, fixing up the color of my hair, a manicure, pedicure, facial, full body massage, teeth cleaning and hopefully getting some June sun on my skin! I can't wait for the big day and all these fun things leading up to it!! YAY!

I've been working out as much as I can but I seriously have had NO time, and I know that's the worst excuse in the book but even today, I'm working all day, working the after school program and then chaperoning a dance. I'm going to be DEAD by the time I get home.

We got the NutriBullet for our engagement party and I've been using that every morning in addition to watching what I eat. I give myself one cheat day a week (usually football Sunday). I do notice a difference just from that and still try to workout at least twice a week. Once Thanksgiving break is over and my schedule lightens up I'm gonna start working out at least 3x a week again.

once we got engaged I wanted to start Jenny Craig but it was really expensive. I was like there must be something out there and found medifast. 55lbs gone
I had a thyroid problem I didn't know about for years which is prob why I gained a ton of weight. I just figured it was part of getting older lol.

I'm really short only 5'3' with a small body frame so even at 122 I still feel not skinny enough. I'm just keeping with the diet and hopefully the belly goes. supposedly some girls that's the last place to lose?

I'm really happy with the diet though and I work out 4x a week on the elliptical machine. me & fh wanna join planet fitness but he works a lot and with all the wedding expenses we just haven't done it.

I keep telling myself that come Dec 1st - I will have all of december, january and most of february to crack down.
I eat when I am bored and work has been super slow this last month and I am just snacking all day. I cant seem to find the self control to stop.

I am going to start doing low carb again in January. Since our wedding is still kind of far away I am not super motivated to diet, but I know for the month leading up to our engagement party I did low card and between the anxiety and last minute planning I dropped weight. I hope that happens before the wedding too.

Although my FH and I got a personal trainer shortly after getting engaged in January, we havent been able to meet with him often enough to make a big difference. After months and months of saying 'oh i have plenty of time to lose 30-40 lbs' I decided this past month to give nutritional cleansing a try! I'm a week and a half into this and i've already lost 8 lbs and 18inches! This monday marks 8 months till the wedding and I finally feel like my goal will be attainable. So happy to finally be doing something to move in the right direction :)

I've been doing weight watchers for 3 years now and it helped me lose 15-17 pounds. Now that I'm trying to lose another 5 pounds, I've started juice cleansing once a month and it's not only slimmed me down but has made my skin so clear!
I also plan on whitening the sh*t out of my teeth. My teeth aren't yellow, but I love WHITE white teeth.

I've done nothing, my schedule hasn't allowed for any time for exercising, but I've been def eating better, and I feel better. I haven't lost anything yet, but after this Sunday, my schedule is clearing up, so I'll have time to get it back in gear! My MOH sent me her Zumba DVDs, I'm going to start with that.

But, I also want to ask, and I probably sound a little dumb, what is a nutritional cleanse?

Wow, I love reading all this. Isn't it amazing how motivated most of us get as the wedding draws near??

I've been a bit obsessed with crossfit for some time now, and I love what its done for my back, arms, and legs. But, the bane of my existance has always been my stomach - no matter how clean I eat and how much I sweat, its always the very last thing for me to see improvement on. Oh well - 99 more days for me to work at it.

As far as 30 days out from the wedding, I think I'll also do a nice facial, visit the cosmetic dermatologist for a little somethin-somethin, and have my cut/color refreshed.
