QOTD- 11/27/12

Today's question is about songs.

What songs are you using for:
-entrance songs
-parent dances
-first dance?

-entrance songs- we haven't fully decided yet. FH wants the brodal party to walk into paper planes... But I'm not so sure about that yet

-parent dances- since I was a little girl I have always wanted to use Butterfly kisses for my dance with my dad.. The song is really long though so I'm a little concerned since ill likely be bawling lol... and may do something else. my FH is planning on dancing with his mom to an Italian song- haven't decided on one yet.

First dance- just the way you are- billy Joel

QOTD- 11/27/12

The entrance song is a surprise for my fiance'! He didn't care, but I felt like a lot of wedding details were about me and I wanted something that had to do with HIM.... so I am surprising him with the New York Rangers Victory song as our entrance!

Parent dances- I'm dancing with my Father to 'You've got a friend in me' from Toy Story... not sure what he is dancing with his Mother to.

First Dance will most likely be 'You're my best friend' by Queen

Since I am an Elvis FREAK and he will be at my wedding we decided to come into Elvis's entrance song

Elvis will also sing our first dance song along with our parent dances


Our wedding song is I cant help falling in love with you

Father Daughter Dance is The wonder of you by Elvis

and I am not sure what he is dancing to his mom with. She wants a Whitney Houston song but that clearly doesnt fit into our theme.


We are also doing all of the dances at the begining of the wedding so we have more time to dance and party later on! :)

I don't know what I'm dancing with my dad to, but he's dancing with his mom to Simple Man by Lynard Skynard.

I am dancing with my dad to 'Daddies and Daughters'by Kevin Fowler

FH is dancing with his mom to 'Simple Man' covered by Shinedown

Our first dance is 'Make you Feel my Love' by covered by Adele

We have not decided any of this and my wedding is less than 4 months away AHHHHHH!!!

Here are our song choices!

-entrance songs - This was FH's choice. He picked 'Enter Sandman' by Metallica. I'm not sure what we are going to use for the BP yet.

-parent dances - FH is going to dance to 'Because You Loved Me' by Celine Dion with his mom and I'm going to dance with my Mom to 'Mama's Song' by Carrie Underwood

-first dance? - We are still undecided...
