Today is my FH's birthday and since we are saving money for our wedding aren't going crazy to celebrate. What are some of your favorite birthday memories with FH?
FH and I went to New Orleans two years ago to celebrate his birthday and luckily it coincided with Voodoofest (music festival). We had the best time just eating, drinking, taking in the culture, eating, listening to music on the streets, roaming around Bourbon St. and eating. He said that it was his best birthday which makes me happy![]()

Happy Birthday to your FH!
My favorite birthday memory with FH is this past summer. I threw him a surprise 30th luau themed birthday party, complete with ukelele/steel guitar performer (we love anything Polynesian/Hawaiian). There were several surprises throughout: Surprise #1, his parents flew in from KY and surprised him Friday night - Surprise #2, On Saturday afternoon, he walked into a party with all of his friends and family there to celebrate with him - Surprise #3, his grandma appeared from behind the crowd of other friends and family and FH started crying because he was so happy (she had flown in from Florida and hadn't been on an airplane in years!). Months later, after our engagement, I came to find out that FH actually purchased my engagement ring just prior to walking into his surprise party! We were both very sneaky this year...but all for good reasons!![]()
