FH and I work in the same career field, which is very specialized (we met though our classes in graduate school). People are always telling us to start our own company together. So I'm wondering...

Do you/could you ever work in the same office as your FH?

I'm crashing cause I like this question!
My colleagues and I actually talk about this from time to time......we all agree we could never do it. I agree with cets, I don't think it's healthy. My career is MY career, and honestly, I don't want FH to be part of that. I also work in relatively high stress environment where small mistakes are magnified, so if I worked with FH and he made a mistake, it would break my heart!

Love FH to death but we couldn't work together. I LOVE my job and like having a separate set of friends. I enjoy being able to have my own time. Fh and I work on the same block in two very different fields and we dont even take lunch together- maybe only once a month. Lol you cant be with someone 24/7!
