How has saving for the wedding affected your daily life???
Right now I am working 7 days a week and long days to save. We have also cut out going out really and buying each other or anyone else for that matter gifts.

I cook everyday and cut out eating out at restaurants. We stay home and watch movies together instead of going out. Sometimes it can be depressing because it seems like we never go anywhere but on the day we hpe it will pay off.

cut back on spending. for instance, for xmas we pretty much agreed w/ everyone in his family that we would not exchange this year due to upcoming expenses.

We spend more carefully now. We used to go to dinner and the movies every week and we don't go to the movies every week anymore. Also, FH has cut down his spending of buying BluRays trememdously. I can't remember the last one he bought.

I'm going to cut back on Christmas shopping this year for sure. I was doing really well just putting money into a savings account every week... until we closed on the house. I have been dipping into the wedding money for stuff for the house so I'm actually getting kind of worried.

i try to bring my lunch to work most days and haven't been doing as much shopping for myself. although i will say we havent drastically cut back.

I watch what I spend in daily life which I never did before but, it hasnt had a big toll on daily life, just vacations.

it kills my everyday life!! i work 2 jobs now and we dont do the social things we used to because we are always saving money. we didnt exchange for xmas last year or any other holiday/birthday for that matter either.

i curbed my shopping habit..thats really about it fh and i were lucky..after we got engaged weve both got very large raises compared to what we were making..so that's covered everything and then some

It has changed our lives alot since I am out on sick leave. We eat in alot and don't do the 'extra' things for right now.

We're not saving for the wedding, but it has aligned with buying a house so we've been eating at home and not going out as much...

maybe twice a week i will buy lunch... other than that, i either dont eat anything significant or anything at all....

We would eat out at least 5 days a week. We've cut that down to 1. It not only helps the wallet, but helps the waistline as well. LOL
We're not going to exchange XMAS presents this year, but I can't NOT give him something. Maybe just a sweatshirt for work or SOMETHING.

I dont get to shop like I used to. Its also cause a lot of bickering between me and FH because I seem to save and he seems to still spend. I can not wait till life can get back to normal and we dont have to save so much in one shot.

Same here. We're lucky enough to have my parents paying for the wedding but the HM is on us....which is ...& we want to put all of our gift $$ from the wedding into our savings.

I cook more often than going out, I work long hours, FH works 7 days a week basically. We are also doing a Holiday Swap with family capped at $30 per person, which really helps. We also took two less vacations this year.

Well, I would like to say that things have changed, but this month I feel like it's gotten WORSE because I keep SPENDING MONEY!!!!!!
