I came up with today's QOTD because FH and I were looking back on our relationship the other day So here it is!
When did you first realize that you loved or were in love with your fh? When did you both finally say those 3 little words, “I love you”? How did it happen?
For me, I knew I was falling for him the night he took me out to NYC. I don't remember why we got all dressed up or what occassion it was for, but we went to see a show and have dinner. It was the perfect night and I knew I was really falling for him. The day he said 'I love you' we were on the chair lift at Okemo, VT, skiing. He said it 'by accident.' and then it got all quiet That night, we both said it to each other in the condo sitting in front of the fireplace (very romantic haha). But it was the best feeling. And we just talked for hours that night.

i said it to him after a month! lol he was like 'umm ok' so then i freaked out and felt bad LOL... but then like a month later we were sitting watching a movie and he said it to me

I knew I loved him when on our first month anniversary he sent me roses with a very romantic poem. He said it to me fiirst when we went to his beach house for the first time together (about 1 month later) and I said it right back. I was waiting for the right time and he beat me to it. lol

we were dating for like a month and he wanted to show me where is grandparents lives in Massapequa, so we drove over there. and we decided to go for a walk, after the walk we went back into his car and he said ' I love you' i really didnt know what to say, so i kind of just ignored it and gave him a kiss..lol! so like 4 months later, i thought he said it again, so i said this time. But he SWEARS he didnt say it again.

I know some people might think this is corny (barb!) or not believe in it but I knew I loved him at first sight. We noticed each other across a room of like 400 students and I had to talk to him. Whats cute is that FH says the same thing so I know it just wasn't me. We said i love you after about a month of seeing each other

I first knew i had feelings for FH when he my grandpa was dying. He would stay up with me for hours and he completely got me through it. However he was with someone else so I did push him away and after we burried my gramps I didnt speak to him for a month or so. It ended up I started seeing another guy which made him jealous (lol) and his other relationship which was not doing well end. We had been friends for a while and had said we loved each other in that friend way from the start. Im not really sure when it switched from being love each other as friends to love meaning more!

anyways, first time i knew i loved him... hmmm i can't say that it was any particular moment i suppose.. it just sorta dawned on me lol and then i finally said it to him a few months (like three probably) after we started dating... so yea in my case there isn't much romance involved

After hanging out about 8 times, FH messaged me saying that he loved me and I told him that he was nuts and he didn't know what he was talking about
I realized about a month later, it just kind of hit me one day

we had been dating on and off for 2 1/2 years so I felt like I was in love with him then. I fell in love with him when we started dating seriously again 3 years ago when he changed my windshields in the pouring rain lol.
I never said anything to him and a couple months later, on Jan 1 he turned to me and said it - I never said anything back that day - I think I was in shock.

Let's see. I had a crush on him when I was 13. He was my assistant basketball coach and I played on his sister's team. We ended up going to the same high school and I saw him again in my English class. We started dating not long after that. And we told each other 'I love you' about 3-4 months into the relationship. But, I think love had been growing for a few years.

We both worked together so at work i started to think ' damn i'm really falling in love with him' it was only after a month of dating so i said to myself i'm just gonna tell him that i love him and see what happens from there. So i texted him and told him that i love him and that i dont care if he says it back. He didn't say it back after two weeks while we out having dinner he finally told me that he loves me and never wanted to let me go.

i knew as soon as we started dating that he would be the guy i married. i was only 16 & he was my first boyfriend. at the time i was still in dancing school & had dance 5 days a week. he was totally cool with my crazy schedule. but the first time we said 'i love you' was right after my friends sweet 16. her sweet 16 was at Gargulos. an amazing hall in Coney Island. my FH is an extremely picky eater so after i ate we decided to take a walk on the board walk so he could get some nathans fries. it was there that we both said i love you (3 months after we started dating). the day after we were suppose to hang out because i was going away for a couple of weeks. but FH's friend was leaving for the marines around the same time so i told him to hang out with his friends & FH sent me an e-mail apologizing to me & telling me all these great things about our relationship. i printed it out & carrying in my wallet ever since.

on day we were laying in the bed and i ask fh if he loved me yet. i knew i loved him right away but didn't wanna say it first, so i was kind of hinting if he loved me and when i asked him he said yes and i said aww how sweet.

It was about a month & half after our first date.
We were both sitting on a couch in a coffee house talking when he came out with 'I hope you don't freak out from what I'm about to say... I just feel I have to say it'. I seriously thought he was going to tell me some really biazzare habit or crazy family thing... but he came out with 'I love you'. I ended up saying it back.. funny enough I knew I was inlove with him on our 2nd date (yes I'm psycho, but it was a small thing he did for me that made my heart go flutter).

well we hit it off right away and after a few weeks we started dating. After 2 weeks of officially being a couple we both just knew we felt something. We were sleeping at a friends house that night and he just said it to me..and i said it back :)

we went drunken bowling and i slammed my finger HARD on something...Now when I get drunk I am one of two people 1) crazy wild fun for all person or 2) cry baby...Well i was a cry baby that night and started crying bc i broke my finger, then i kept crying bc i didnt want to go home...Well I think he just kinda said it to shut me up but when he said it i stopped crying and was like'AWWWWWWWW' right in his face!! but then i said i loved him too and gave him a big smooch and hug!!
