Last night my mom and I were going through my grandmother's jewelry and I was looking for my old and borrowed. We came across my great grandmother's and grandmother's engagement rings and wedding bands. it's really amazing how styles have changed!
Which leads me to the QOTD...What is your old new borrowed and blue?
Old: My first pair of earrings when I got my ears pierced. (I am going to put them inside my dress)
New: dress, jewelry, veil, etc.
Borrowed: My Grammie's diamonique earrings

my borrowed ia my great grandmothers necklace that my moms has, Its beautiful, and my blue is my garter
Old: mom sewed my baby bracelet onto a gorgeous garter she bought me
New: dress, jewelry, veil, etc.
Borrowed: My nannys gold and diamond cross that i am wearing
Blue:My undies and I got a personalized tag sewn into my gown (blue thread) that says my new name and the wedding date.

My blue is going to be my garter, my new will be my dress, earrings etc and borrowed dont know yet.

New- Almost everything..LOL Dress, Jewelery, veil, etc
Old- no idea yet
Borrowed- no idea yet
Blue- My garter has a blue bow on it

My old is the only thing I'm not clear on yet. Depending on how the time of month pans out and if it fits properly/doesn't show through dress I have an ivory satiny pair of undies I wore to prom Yeah, that plan worked swimmingly.
New is dress, veil, shoes, DOJ, headpiece, etc.
Borrowed will be my mom's pearl bracelet.
Blue will be garter.

Old- Idk actually.. I'm gonna have to put thought into this one.
New- Dress, Veil, Jewelry, etc
Borrowed- Diamond earrings that my late father bought my sister and gave to her at her rehearsal dinner
Blue- Theres a little blue ribbon sewn on the inside of my NY Jets garter :o)

old - my corset bra (bought it for a wedding I was in in Nov 07) - is perfect for my dress
new - dress, veil, DOJ, tiara, shoes
borrowed - my Granny's rosaries that I will have put into my bouquet

Old - FMIL's lace gloves she wore at her wedding - I'll pin it into my dress
New - um, almost everything on me...gown, jewelry, oh, and FH!
Borrowed - my grandma's wedding band that I'm using to take my vows
Blue - hopefully blue undies...still to be purchased hehehe

My something old is also my something blue. My great grandmothers engagement ring has saphires on the sides. I am so honored that I am able to wear it.
My something borrowed are my moms earings that she had made to match my grear g'ma ring.
and of course the new is my DRESS!!!

Old: My great grandma's diamond and platinum earrings. I feel so incredibly grateful that I get to wear these. If I have a daughter, I'll give them to her to wear on her wedding day!
New: dress, veil, shoes, etc.
Borrowed: Not sure yet!
Blue: Dress tag and maybe my undies!
