Today's has to do with the fun topic of IN-LAWS (bum bum buuuuuuummmmm <---- thats scary music lol)
Do you now or plan to when you get married call you future parents and siblings in law Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother?
FH's dad passed away a few years ago, but i already call my FMIL 'Mom' and introduce my FSIL as my Sister.
just wondering if you all do the same now or will do later when you get married
ETA: i call all his aunts and uncles as my own aunts and uncles

i already call them mom and dad and have for a while.. sometimes i call my FMIL flo-jo.. depends on my mood.. sometimes its brunhilda (whatever she calls me witchb!tch!-- we have a good relationship for the most part)
i dont really have a problem calling them mom and dad... its not like theyre taking the place of my parents or anything and i dont think its disrespectful towards my parents.. no one could ever replace them and they know that.. its just a name.

the words can never roll off my tongue to call his mother 'mom'. My mother is my ONLY mother and no one can fill her shoes, so I don't think no other woman is even remotely priveldged to be called mom.
I refer to her as Ms. {first name}, and in return she calls me Ms.Vanessa. That's just 'our' thing and it works so we're keeping it!
I definitley will probably not ever call them mom and dad. Sometimes FH doesn't even call her mom he calls her sheryl sometimes. And sometimes mom. His parents are really weird. I will call his bros/sis my brother in-law etc. And I do refer to his aunt's/uncles as 'aunt so-and-so'

I find it soooo hard to call them mom n dad it would prob take me till our 30th anni to start that up LOL
I have one Mom and Dad...so I wont be calling his parents by that. His Mom always signs things...Ma...but i cant bring myself to call her that. It's just weird to me. So I dont call her anything! Weird, i know.
As for his Dad...there are a million inappropriate things I would like to call him...but Dad is the last thing I would call him.
His sister and brother will just be SIL and BIL...I am not close with them.
I do call all his aunts and uncles...aunt so and so etc
haha, I don't call his mom anything either, I just say hello. It's never come up that I've had to call her anything. But her cards she sign Mrs. S lolololol

i call his parents by their first names now, so i'll stick to that after the wedding. i call his extended family by aunt.....and uncle....
he calls my mom and step dad by their first names and the same thing with my extended family - aunt.....and uncle......
as far as our siblings - he is not really that close with his sister, so she will just be sister in law. i don't know what he's going to do about my brother.
on the other hand, i do call my brother's wife my sister

My friend and i were actually trying to decide what to call them (she's getting married in august).
Do i say hey 'FMIL name here' or.. hey mom 'weird'
right now i just say hey lol... in a polite way of course or i'll put myself in situations where i dont have to use their name.

I will probably call them mom and dad. I know they would like me to so maybe. I am not close with his brother. He is a great guy but he and his wife are doctors and live in NJ. There hours are crazy and we never see them so I would feel weird referring to him as my brother. Plus, they are ten years apart so while I have been with FH (4 yrs) his brother always lived in NJ.
I call his grandma and uncle the same he does!

I think I will call his parents mom and dad, his grandm=parents I already call grandma/grandpa and his aunt and uncles I already call aunt..../uncle ......
