Thank you mf324 for making me BOTW
Since I am feeling in the holiday spirit (my sisters and I are decorating my house and putting up our tree today), my first question is holiday related.
Do you have a holiday tradition that you and FH will be keeping once you are married?
Every year I get FH a penguin ornament. We are crazy for penguins and I usually get the year written on it as well. Also last year we went to Bryant Park to ice skate. He didn't think Id do so good after seeing some embarrassing home videos of me falling on my butt on the ice! But Id like to continue to do that each year too. Oh and we ALWAYS watch Christmas Vacation- my FAVORITE Christmas movie ever.

We each will get a new ornament every year (and so will our kids when we have them) and we will continue the tradition my family has of opening presents in our pjs while eating pound cake, cranberry nut bread, and Christmas cookies :)We will also keep the Easter tradition of having a Polish breakfast - YUM!

FH and I have a lot of family traditions from both sides that we will continue. To just name a few...my family always has the Italian feast of the 7 fishes on Christmas Eve which we will continue to have when we have children. My family and I also have a tradition of going to the same tree farm in Connecticut to cut down our tree every year. FHs family has a tradition of the German pickle ornament being the last ornament placed on the tree (we did this yesterday actually). We have so many now that I'm thinking of it. One of my favorite traditions that I've done since I was a kid was having one night designated to drive around all the neighboring towns to look at the houses all decorated. I love Christmas time!

We also have the Italian dinner of 7 fishes on Christmas Eve and driving around to see all the Christmas lights. On Christmas morning we always stay in our PJs and open our gifts then have breakfast together. I definitely plan on doing all of that with FH and future kiddos.

FH is going to be joining my family for the 3rd time this year for the feast of the 7-fishes. We go to church in the morning and the spend the day with both of our families. My favorite tradition is that every vacation, we get a Christmas ornament (sometimes a little difficult in June).
We go see the tree in Rockefeller Center.
This year, I am searching for an engagement ornament, any suggestions? I don't want 'Our first Christmas' one.

We started our own annual walk down 5th Ave and Madison Ave to look at the shop windows. Otherwise, our main tradition is a very big feast of the 7 fishes at FH parents with lots of family.

Look on Etsy for the engagement ornament. They have everything!

Every Christmas Eve since we've been dating we go to Melting Pot for dessert after church just the two of us, then we go home and exchange our gifts. We also do presents in PJ's with my family in the morning and dinner and gifts with FH's family. There's a website www.bronners.com that has an adorable engagement ornament that you personalize with names and the engagement date. They also have one you can personalize that says 'Soon to be Mrs.'

My fiance' and I started dating around the holidays... so every year we plan a day to go see the tree in Rockefeller Center, ice skating at Bryant Park & visit Santa at Macy's Santaland in Herald Square (where I once worked!
