*QOTD* 12.4.12

Since its the holiday season, lets talk about gifts!

What are you getting for your parents for your special day?

I have no clue! Thats why I am asking this question, for ideas! My mother is EXTREMELY important and I want to get her something REALLY nice, but IDK what. I also want to get FHs parents something really nice as well. Any ideas ladies?

I got my mother a gift certificate for a facial, she has been working A LOT lately due to the hurricane (she works for insurance)... So I wanted to get her something so she could relax & enjoy it. My father is the hardest person to shop for! I have zero ideas on what to get him!

Re: *QOTD* 12.4.12

I have seen these really cute handkerchiefs on etsy which I think I am going to get for my parents. May have ones made for FHs parents as well.

We are getting them picture frames from etsy. My parents are getting one that says 'today a bride, tomorrow a wife, forever your little girl.' FIL's says, 'All that we are, and all that we hope to be, we owe to our loving parents.' Both have our names and wedding date on it.

Omg my dad too! He's retired and has almost zero hobbies besides landscaping and watching tv. I try to get him cool outdoors gadgets for BBQing and gardening, but he always refuses to use them and sticks with old school stuff haha.

On our wedding day I'm not sure what to get either. My mom won't wear fake jewelry so DOJ is out of the question. I'm a procrastinator, so I def won't get around to this stuff until right before the wedding.

Wow! I'm an idiot.. I read the question as what were were getting our parents for Christmas. Dur!

Wedding wise-I got my Mother a bracelet that matches the necklace I am wearing, A 'Mother of the Bride' hanger for her dress. I got my Father engraved cufflinks. I also put together a family survival kit, a beautiful engraved frame from Things Remembered & painted wine glasses AND bought a tote bag to put all of the gifts in!
Plus albums from our photographer for both sets of Parents.
Clearly I'm better at wedding gift shopping than Christmas gift shopping!

For my mom I got a bad with her name and Mother of the Bride tote. I'm going to put the MOB hanger in it, but I'm not sure what else.

I want to get my dad pig cufflinks.

We are getting both sets of parents an album from the wedding.
