What's your cake-cutting song? Even though we are one year away let’s start throwing some ideas around!

i have no idea...i like the theme song from mad about you...thought that was a cute song. and i like 'you';re my best friend' by queen i think.

FH and i havent discussed it at all yet so those were just 2 ideas i had in my head

we originally wanted it to be that adam sandler song from wedding singer but shawn's cousin used that as his, so now we cant
But we might end up using hey there delilah instead of using that as our first dance song, and use love you till the end by the pogues for our first dance song

honestly, i never thought that cake cutting needed a song. i thought the only songs were for intro's and special dances. just goes to show - i am far behind!!!

can someone post all the song requirements somewhere pleaseee??? THANKS!

we're using 'youre my best friend' by queen.. i think.. i dont remember if my sister used it or not.. if she did ill pick something else.

I think we are going to use 'each day gets better' by john legend. That was our original first dance song but I don't think we're gonna use it because its a little upbeat and we'd really have to practice, but I love the song. And I don't want to do something where you try to be cute and it winds up being cheesy and lame. So everything is just going to be regular... lol

For now the possibilities are:

1. By Your Side by SADE ( it was our 2nd choice for our wedding song)
2. Adam sandler song
3. How sweet it is to be loved by you

You need:
Introductions (parents, BP, You and FH)
1st Dance
Mother and Son
Father and Daughter
If you are doing Garter toss
Bo-K Toss
maybe another one for putting the garter on?
cake cutting
last song
and if you want a spotlight dance or particular slow songs played throughout the night
