So hope everyone's week has been going well. Here is today's QOTD!
Who said I love you first? And how/when did it happen?
So FH and I had been friends for a while before we started dating. He had a long time gf and the 2 of them where the most destructive couple I have ever seen. Its like there goals in life were to rip the other apart and make them miserable. So he called me up one night to go get coffee and talk so we ended up with coffee down by the park near his house that has an amazing view of the Manhattan skyline. This is the place that both of us used to go in order to escape the insanity. So it was so funny being there with him in my escape zone lol. So he vented to me for about 2 hours about how he doesn't know what to do and how all him and his gf is hurt each other. So at the end he thanked me for listening and told me how great it was being my friend (blek lol) and how glad he was that I was in his life then he said I love you.
I didn't reciprocate cuz I felt it would be strange to say I love you as a friend...so after that it wasn't said again for quite sometime. But now I kinda have the feeling that even back then it didn't mean I love you as only a friend
hmm ok well FH said it first, although he didnt think i could hear him. our relationship has been on fast forward since day 1. one night i was sleeping over and he thought i was sleeping and i heard him whisper i love you to me...it really was the cutest thing cuz he didnt think i was awake.
shortly after he actually said it to me and i said it back.

It was on jan 1 almost 3 years ago right after we had some lovin and we were in bed and he turned to me and asked me if i loved him i was in shock because we weren't even official yet and he said because i love you. i didn't say anything and he never said anything till a week later and than i said it back

this isnt the type of question where me and my FW could differ, so her answer is mine... however i would like to add that the very first night that we talked on the phone, we talked from 10pm to 4am. after that initial 6 hours... I'm not saying i was 'in love' per say... but i knew i would be.

After hanging out with FH for the 8th time (yes i had counted) he messaged me saying that he loved me. I told him that he was nuts, he didn't know what he was talking about, and that he couldn't possibly love me already i told him 2 months later
FH will still joke with me about when he told me he loved me. I guess from the beginning he always knew more than i did

He told me that he loved me first. He told me July 4, about 3 months after we started dating. I immediately said it back. I wanted to tell him from about the 3rd date on, but I was a chicken and could never bring myself to do it.

its sad to say but i don't remember exactly when. i am sure it was within the first couple of months of us dating. (which was back in 2000). i will ask him tonight to see if he remembers.

ok its not super romantic, but the first time we said it was maybe like a month or two after dating...we were at FHs fraternity formal...which meant we were veryyy drunk.
I actually don't remember when we said it to each other after that....thats terrible of me

I said it when I was drunk in Conn. after a dave Matthews concert. He said he didnt believe me and that If I ment it to tell him again in the am when Im sober and I did and he said it back. That was 2 weeks after we started dating and never spent a day apart that entire time.

he told me he loved me 1st... it was one night after maybe 5 mnths of dating he was driving me home from an aswome date and he pulled over n grabbed my hand and was like babe i love you... and i didnt say it back.. i felt so bad lol... but i did say it a few weeks later...
