Let me preface by saying that we all understand that as brides, we are all unique and our weddings should reflect our personalities and our unique relationships...with that said...
Tell me about the worst or strangest wedding you have ever been to. If you can't think of a wedding as a whole, what is the worst or strangest aspect of a wedding you have ever seen?
*Please remember to be as p.c. as possible in order to have fun with this question. Don't want any hurt feelings!
The worst wedding I ever went to occurred just this last October. The trouble was that my good friend from college and his wife were major hippies who didn't want a big wedding...and then went ahead and invited 250 people! There were 250 guests piled into an Elks Lodge in upstate NY. The tables were arranged cafeteria style, with plans to move them to create a dance floor after dinner. They didn't realize that the built in sound system was not meant to support a dance floor, so there was no music..ever! The photographer was a bride's family friend who would often forget to take pictures of the grooms side...FH was a groomsmen and he says he had his picture taken a total of 3 times. Even he turned into a bridezilla. I think they should have done their low key wedding with just close friends and family. It would have had much more of a casual feel and would have kept it classy.

the weirdest wedding i've ever been to had to be my cousin's back in 2005.. she's from virginia, so weddings are just very different there, but it was in like a random open auditorium with a DJ and a crappy buffet... the WEIRDEST part of the whole thing is that we stayed at my aunt's house that weekend (the mother of the bride), and she was washing the fruit for their dessert bar the night before that she bought at costco... My mom thought that was so bizarre that they had to purchase their own fruit lol
Something about that visual has me cracking up!!

****QOTD 12/17**** - Long Island Weddings
I've never been a bad or weird wedding just certain aspects of some of them were questionable. My sisters wedding 2007 love her but she got married at the long island aquarium cause she wanted unique and different. Which it totally was but the way they used to set it up was soo divided. It was buffet style food where the shark tank is table on the outside and dance floor in the room next door so very choppy, an octopus tried escaping out of it's tank during dinner lol. It was impossible to get drunk at that wedding cause they took your glass if you set it down for a second. One of the few weddings I never even got a chance to eat cause of that. A friends wedding in 2011 they had it on a family friends property it monsooned the day before so the ground was uneven and slopped they had a rented dance floor down on the grass and was so hard to dance cause it was on a slope and uneven. One of our friend who was tipsy granted fell a few times because of the sloping. Hell I almost fell and I wasn't tipsy lol.
