Thanks for playing along with my question from yesterday, your stories were hilarious!
I will be nicer today. My sister recently did the Facebook 'year in review' where it summarizes the highlights of your year that you posted on there. This got me thinking...
What would your year in review look like? (Does not just have to be what you posted on facebook hehe)
For me, there were so many major changes this year, 2013 was insane. Here are the highlights: April- my sister found out she was pregnant after a looong 4 year fertility struggle (currently 36 weeks pregnant and counting!) May- FH and I both graduated and obtained our master's degrees! June- FH got a job offer in North Carolina, and therefore we found out we would be moving! July- FH started his 4th grade teaching job (year round school yuck) and I started a stretch of unemployment... November- I FINALLY was offered a job as an elementary school counselor!!

2013 was kind of an uneventful year for me! My best friend and my stepmom both came for visits in the summer, FH and I got engaged, a really good friend of mine found out she was pregnant after a year of trying. I got more involved with my daughters school and extra curricular activities, which is hard since I work full time but it was worth it. So it was a busy year, but pretty uneventful. Which was actually nice.

Re: ****QOTD 12/18****
this year went by so fast. highlights of the year.
my diet I've lost 59lbs so that's been a big thing. my friend's mom didn't even recognize me at her bridal shower because I looked like a totally different person from behind. plus my hair is darker and longer then it was 2 years ago on top of the weight loss.
after not being happy with my first dress I got my dream wedding dress an eve of milady I still can't believe it, back in March & my god is it big on me now.
FH took me to Europe for my 30th birthday in March though my bday wasn't until Sept. we went to London, Paris & Rome. I still cannot believe I finally went to Europe. it had been a dream to go since I was like 8 years old lol. I won't ever forget the hot cocoa in Paris or seeing the tower for the first time or omg the food in Rome. I keep telling FH he can't knock me up until we go back to Rome lol. I want a made in Italy baby lol.
my mom surprised me with purple Manolo Blahnik heels for wedding, I always wanted shoes like that being a huge SATC fan. I actually got same shoes she wore in movie but in purple. Sarah Jessica Parker. it's def been the year of dreams come true.
partied in New Orleans with my girls for my first bach. I wore a pink wig, it was tons of fun. besides my mom complaining and wanting to go home at 11 pm lol. I was like you can go back to hotel. my 2nd bach was better in nyc.
and went to AC for the first time on my actual 30th bday in Sept, FH got us a huge suite. Revel was amazing. also we went and met my mom & stepdad in Nashville in August. loved it so much we might move there. FH has to take the police test probably in February. though I wanted him to try Pa too since it's a lot closer.
and last we went to Cancun in Sept as my bday gift from my mom. we loved the hotel so much we are going there for our HM instead of the other we had picked out in playa del carmen in the middle of nowhere. my MOH is like that's so dumb you gotta go somewhere new. we really loved it that much and whole time we kept saying we want our hm here as we were there. it's a 5 star hotel so it's not like we are downgrading lol. the other hotel was just bigger & in PDC, plus more gourmet which looking at the food just doesn't seem for us. I'm happy with a reg burger lol. it'll still be our HM besides the fact we have been there before won't it? lol....

Congrats to your sister! That's wonderful. Also, congrats on the other highlights!
- The number 1 thing would be our engagement: June 5, 2013.
- Disney World trip in June a week and a half after the engagement. We spent half of it alone and the other half with two other friends. It was such a fun trip. (Then again, when isn't Disney fun?)
- My trip to San Diego to visit my aunt (we are only 4 years apart and she's more like a sister!) in July. Always such a highlight for me. I adore that city.
- Weekend trip to Maine the first weekend of March to celebrate our dating anniversary (which is Feb. 27)
- Successfully completing another tough (spring) semester for my associates in Commercial Photography.
- Buying my wedding dress in September was pretty darn memorable!!
- Smaller moments like the events I went to and fun times with family and friends.

Fun question. Hmmm, let see... February me and FH visited Panama (the country, not FL very cool June (part one): FH and I decided to get the ball rolling and we decided to book our wedding venue (Fox Hollow)! Mind you, we are not formally 'engaged' yet - this whole thing was kept a secret from everybody except my mom, because FH wanted to put a ring on it before announcing the wedding plans. June - finally, after over a year of searching for a different job, I was able to give my notice at the nursing home/rehab center I was working in. Yay! July - I started as a clinical dietitian at Queens Hospital Center. Love it! September - he FINALLY got down on one knee in front of his family. It was perfect - and I was finally able to announce to everyone we were getting married Feb 2014! I thought I was going to bust, keeping it a secret for so long. Save the dates (which I had pre-ordered, of course), went out that weekend. December - the 21st is my bday. Just had to mention that. I love birthdays.
Here's my list (a lot of mine seem to involve my BMs!)
-Very early January, One of my oldest friends/BMs gave birth to her first baby, a beautiful daughter. It was so much fun celebrating the first baby of a best friend
-Getting ENGAGED on our 3 year anniversary January 25th,2013
-Choosing our venue at the end of March- YAY BRIDGEVIEW
-Another BM baby came in May. Her first baby was a handsome little boy. He's become mine + FH's 'practice baby' on account of getting to see him so frequently + spoiling him!
-Sadly, one of my BMs lost her dad in April. Several weeks later she needed to go to Vegas for a teacher convention so I decided a few days before she was going that i'd meet her out there to give her lots of extra love. She lives in Hawaii so Vegas was practically the halfway point. I couldnt miss the opportunity to be there for my girl (plus Vegas is the best lol)
-June we had our engagement party. It was out of control lol everyone had such a great time. Definitely a nice preview to what the wedding will be like haha.
-Early August I moved to Jersey to live with my FH! It's been a wild ride living together but I wouldnt trade waking up to him every morning for anything :)
-Late August I turned 29, FH turned 30 and we went to Vegas to celebrate! It was such a fun trip filled with drinks, gambling, hangovers and zip lining.
-November one of my BMs got married and I had the honor of being her BM.
-December another BM got engaged a week ago! Another wedding I hopefully get to be in :)
2013 has been such a blessing and a good time. I can't wait for all 2014 has coming to me!

Fun question!
I think mine would be a little dull. 2012 was more our big year we got engaged and went to Disney for the first time.
1)This year was just booking the rest of our big wedding vendors, saving a ton of money.
2) Got my tonsils taken out.
3) Took Fh to AC for the first time, went to see Bon Jovi for the umpteenth time.
4)Went to Hershey Park explored Amish country.
5) Went to Salem MA, and Sleepy Hollow.
6) The most recent adjustment was moving back in with my parents to save money for the wedding and a house and my sister, brother in law, and nephew moving in as well cause they are in the process of closing on a house. Too many people in one house, such insanity.

Its a little stressful financially, but I love the shorter engagement too. Less time to question yourself about every friggin decision. Not to mention, I'm 35....the know, the whole biological clock thing is in full effect

Haha yeah that's how it feels. The only other wedding party I was in, two years ago, that bride is also my bridesmaid. I really expect her to be and like two other married girls to be pregnant by the time the wedding comes around!

LOL! I told all my married BMs if they want to get pregnant they should go for it and not worry about being a preggie BM but one has already (awkwardly) told me that she's gonna start trying for a baby on my wedding night so she won't be pregnant during the wedding

Re: ****QOTD 12/18****
2013 was pretty eventful for me…
February - FH and I started looking for a place to live April - After a pretty stressful pregnancy, FSIL gave birth to my youngest nephew (now I have 4!) May: Finally graduated. Walked into my old school - attached to the church we're getting married at - on a whim after an interview just to drop off a resume in case anything ever became available and got offered a position as a 5th & 6th grade math teacher on the spot! I started the following week and I love it! June: FH's cousin gave birth to her fourth child. August - I was a BM for my best friend's wedding September - started going back to school again for a degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) October - I was a BM for a friend of mine December: FH and I FINALLY found a place to live after what seemed like forever. FH's cousin got married and he was the BM. FH's other cousins had their first little baby boy!
Of course there was some bad, but I'd rather only mention the positive

2013 was a very difficult year for both mine and FH's families, but I still feel so blessed for all the positive things that happened <3
My FSIL had her third child, a little boy. In February we had our engagement party. In April my step sister got married and me, FH, my sister and her FH all flew out to California. And we went to Disneyland for the first time! In August FH and I went to Aruba and had an AMAZING time!
My sister and I spent most of the year planning our weddings :)
