Someone asked me this question last night, and I was shocked. I didn't know what to do, cuz I believe it would never happen. So I wanted to get your opinions on this topic.
Infidelity If FH were to cheat on you after you were married what would you do? Would you forgive him?
If you where to cheat on FH would he take you back?

Id like to say no i would never forgive him but i dont know if I am that strong of a person...
FH would NEVER EVER take me back...not in a million years...trust is so important to him and having to deal with infidelity in his family has made him 1000% sure he would never take me back!

If either one of us cheated, it would be the end of the marriage. I don't think we have it in us to forgive infidelity. It something I don't like to even think about.

Thats a tough one... Being cheated on in the past I never took them back...but marriage is a whole other ball game...
Hmm.. I think depending on the severity of it... I would have to make my decision...like, if he had another girlfriend and then said 'i dont want that life' i would divorce his arse...
But, if the crazy bugger only did it once I dont know.... Then again, I would never trust him again either....
wow..good question!

I dont think either of us could really forgive or trust eachother. I had this done to me by my son's father and we got back together for the sake of my son and I could never trust him and guess what, he did it AGAIN!!!! I feel once a cheater always a cheater!!!

I really thought long and hard about this last night, and I was almost in tears. I guess I was a little naive. I know I would never be able to forgive him, and it would totally ruin our marriage. I would never stay with him. I would just be so hurt.
If I were to cheat on him, I dont think he would take me back. He might be able to forgive me, but he wont forget.

Im not sure in both of those situations... It would have to be something where once you're in it, you would see how you would react
I would prob take him back though but only if it was like a stupid one time thing.... If it was one of those maury stories of infidelity that go on for years, then prob not a chance in hell

My FH and I had this discussion a while ago because he was cheated on by his EX...... and it's the worst feeling in the world! He said that he could forgive me for ANYTHING EVER but that cheating would be something that could be a deal breaker!!! That was when we were DATING... we never had the discussion since we are engaged.. however, I think it would be realllly hard to fully trust the person again!!!!!! and it could mean an END to US however, I really feel in my HEART OF HEARTS that FH will NEVER EVER CHEAT.... he is soooo against it and is soo bothered by people who do it(close friends of ours just recently got divorced cause of cheating....and my goddaughter is in the middle of the divorce) so we have seen it tear people apart!!! I know I would never cheat! I can't even IMAGINE being intimate with someone else... since I've been with FH!!!
but this is a very TOUGH and interesting question

It would depend on the circumstances I guess. If a person is cheating that means there's a underlying issue that needs to be adressed. If that issue was something that could be rectified then of course we would work things out. My FH and I really believe that a relationship is hard work, people grow and you have to be able to grow with that person and we truly believe that neither one of us would ever give up on our love (its too good to be true). So I think we would try to work things out.

I get the whole concept about the underlyning issue, however, there are some people that are just cheaters. There is nothing a person in a relationship with someone like this can do, but tolerate it, or leave.

I would not take him back and I don't think he would take me back either... once you let them do it and forgive them I think there will always be that uncertainty.... so no I would leave him if he did that to me.

That's a tough question. I have to honestly say I don't know what my reaction would be unless I was in the situation.
I mean in my head, I think I would be able to forgive a one-night stand a lot easier than if he was having a long-term affair.
But who knows how I would react if I was really faced with the situation.
Of course, I hope I NEVER have to find out!

i wouldnt take him back..im the type of person that i cant get over things like that. we would break up over it eventually, because im the type of person that would always be brining it up , etc etc....so we would be miserable together because i wouldnt be able to let it go. i dont know if FH would take me back, maybe i know if it was having sex, then for sure no , but other things then maybe

Honestly I feel like this is a situation that would have to happen to know what you would do. I really have no clue what I would do and what FH would do.
