QOTD 12/28

This question is top of mind today b/cI just went to a wedding last night.

Do you plan on having a viennese hour?

I havent been to many weddings where they had it...and I was debating whether it was worth the money. Last night I decided I dont think we will. It kind of put a stop to the dancing and I dont want that. If I could have it in a separate room...I might consider.

We are having one. I asked the RH if they could make it a 1/2 hour instead.

I don't plan on it, we get a desert served plus the wedding cake and I don't really want the partying to stop.

We're not having it...there's more than enough food anyway- I dont think its worth the extra money.

no, IMO i don't think its worth the extra cost. I dont think a lot of people would eat it or they would just take some and not eat it (ive seen this before). I was just at my sister's wedding a few nights ago and no one even touched the cake or the trays of cookie/fruits that were on the table.

we get dessert plus the cake and i don't want the partying to stop. i've been to 2 weddings recently that both had vienese hours and it everything kind of died down after it.

when fh and i went looking at rhs i didn't want one, but him and his no good mother wanted it. i wan not able to get out of it. my reasons for not hsvin it were there is gonna be enough food there and my wedding is a sunday and that monday is presdients day and not that many people gte off that day. so i will be paying for everyone and maybe some people can't stay. but i didn't win, once again. how i hate my fmil

No, I do not plan on having one. I want people to having a good time and not have to stop to eat. With my family it would just be a waste of money.

no we're not. it would be too late in the night and i dont want that big ordeal. instead we decided to have italian pastries, cookies, and other things served with cake and coffee at dessert time

nope...unecessary bc we have a dessert plate and the cake...plus after so much (ch/dinner/etc) i just feel like its too much...not worth the $

We are not having it, but we have other things being served not just cake.
We did add an extra hour to PARTY.

we arent having one. i think its a waste of money. most of the food goes uneaten and alot of people end up leaving so although it adds an extra hour onto the party, half the paople left and you just paid an extra 10-15pp for that.

I get a vienese table, it is $8 bucks a person but we get one extra for free, so we are choosing that one. I'm not sure if its an extra hour though, I think it's just desert...
