I probably would've been very surprised that finally a guy is working out for me LOL At the end of our 1st date all I was hoping for was for him to call me back and ask me out again, so someone saying that he will be my husband would've been a huge stretch for me.
FH says that he knew he will marry me the 1st moment he saw me so I guess that wouldve made sense to him
2010 is just 4 days away!

FH and I were friends a really long time before we became a couple, so someone saying this would have definitely surprised me. But I guess things just have a way of working out!

I was in a relationship at the time, we been together 8yrs. I wasnt thinking abt getting married or breaking up with my ex.

great question! my mom told me this 4 years ago.. i was totally cool with it.. I met my FH when I was 19 and he asked me (informally) if I would marry him on our 3 or 4th date.. i knew he was the one and so did he! we make a crazy team....6 year later.. my mom and FH were correct!

i knew from day one (9 years & 9 months ago) that we would get married when the time was right for us.

I would have laughed. We were both dating other people at the time. We didn't start dating until 4 years later.

If you told me I was gonna marry this man, I would've told you you're insane. I was 14 y/o and he was dating my BEST friend at the time. Funny how things change isn't it?!

I would have believed it. No joke, but FH knew the day he met me it was going to be something special, and that he might end up marrying me. He didn't tell me this right away of course. But he did tell me later on he knew that first date.
I also knew right away that this was different and something special. We joked about running away and getting married early on.
And we started talking seriously about marriage 3 months into our relationship. I knew right away he that he is the man I am going to spend the rest of my life with!

i actually jus found an old letter thing i wrote, i guess almost like a diary from right after we met, and i was writing, 'id spend the rest of my life with this man'
i was like OMG CARL!!! LOOK WHAT I FOUND!!!
didnt realize how sure i was from the start! its pretty cool tho

hmmm, the day we met, I would have said 'really?, well he is a nice guys compared to the other idiots'. funny story related to this... my mom came to a concert with me that alot of work people were at cause we all got tix through work...so we all went to a bar before. FH was there, we had met at work 2months earlier cause we had lunch with the same people, so we planned to both be at the bar. He went with some girl from work that was like obsessed with him and he had no interest in but knew she wanted to go to the conert. Mom met him and loved him right away and called it she said ' he really likes you and you 2 are gonna end up together'. we ended up being a couple a week later!

If someone told me when I met my FH that I would be marrying him, I would have said that I could have seen that happening! We met in High School and I thought that he was such an 'awesome nice guy' - Granted we did not start dating until we both were out of college.

i probably wouldn't have believe it. I was only 19 and FH was my first serious relationship so I probably wouldn't have thought we would end up getting married.
