QOTD 12/29

I know this is early but there is no way I will get to the computer before I leave for work tomorrow so I figure I will post it now. Hope this question isn't a repeat...

Can you pinpoint the moment you knew your fiancee was the one? Was it love at first sight?

Keenan and I first met back in 1999 when I worked at the Gap, he was a supervisor from another store who came to cover a shift, and the first time I laid eyes on him I had butterflies in my stomach. I'll never forget the day, he was showing me how to ring something through the register that didn't have a tag and I had this pit in my stomach. My heart felt so weird and good. I actually had a fiancee at the time. But looking back, from that moment I knew it was love at first sight for me.

I think it was about a month into our relationship. We went to visit his little cousin who was 4 and when I saw FH playing with him and taking care of him I knew he was gonna be the father of my children!

Almost immediately. We just clicked... and our conversations were wonderful. And he's hot... I was sold!!

we clicked immediately....but i don't know when the exact moment was when i knew he was 'the one'. i would say it was probably only a month or two into the relationship.

We went to a cabin for his birthday about 5 weeks after we started dating, and we cooked together and almost burnt the place down, smoke filled the whole place and fogged up the windows and he wrote 'I <3 U 4 100 YEARS' in the fog with his finger, lol... and I told him that was a minimum only and he agreed and he got really drunk on wine and told me he was going to marry me someday. It was the best trip and I think I knew then.

(He says he 'knew' when I brought him soup when he was sick - the soup was in a can, I said you should have also 'known' I wouldn't be a great cook.)

I knew pretty much right away. The flowers and poem for our 1 month anniversary did it for me.

the first night jackie and i talked on the phone... we talked for 6 hours. from 10pm till 4 am. we got along well from the begining. our entire relationship has been in fast forward starting with this convo.

but the moment i knew she was the one... we werent even dating yet... it was St. Patricks day. all of our friends were going into the city which left Jackie and i to spend the entire day alone together. it was said that we would never leave the bedroom, but we in fact never made it there. lol. instead we ran erronds all day, i went with her to buy a new coach bag... we had a 'relationship' day. and the whole i was thinking to myself... this is a preview of things to come.

i knew that day that i wanted to be with this girl forever.

i think it started with our first phone conversation, like he mentioned, it was 6 hours and we talked about everything. the first few times we saw eachother it was just different. we talked and laughed and he made me feel so good about myself. it was so different than any other relationship. my friends werent fond of the relationship we had going and i think that made it even better, it made us even stronger and want to be together even more. like he also said, we were on fast forward and i was never like that with anyone else so it had to mean something. everything fell into place so quickly and so perfectly how could it be wrong?

It was definitely our first kiss, it was everything I had ever dreamed a first kiss would be, just perfect, after that I knew he was the one for me....i saw fireworks

i was going through a lot of stuff. he said to me one night, 'i love you, i will always love you, no matter what' i knew then he would always love me unconditionally- and that he was the only one for me. Plus we just click in every way.

The first time we met he totally ignored me....he claims he was playing hard to get :) We met again a few weeks later at my friends bday party. We ended up haging out and stayed up all night talking. When we finally layed down on her couch at 5 am he put his arm out for me so I could cuddle up, without me even asking. I knew from that moment that I would marry him.

Actually took me a while to let him in being I had just got out of a 6 yr relationship. Wich I am glad now because we became friends wich then led into to love and then we became bestfriends! Id say it took us (me) a good 7-8 months before I could even say I loved him. Even though he was great I was still holding onto something just because of comfort.
He has now shown me what real comfort and friendship is and I couldnt ask for more! OK OK maybe for him to clean up more after himself but ehh I can deal haha.

Probably the night we went on a date to the city. It was just really special and I knew I was falling for him. It was around Christmas time. And that Thanksgiving before when he went back to NH to visit family, we missed each other so much and talked all week on the phone. So we kinda knew then too.

I knew he was the one when he sayed I love and I got butterflys and I waiting for someone who I really love to do the deed with and he waited till I was ready which was six months in to our realtionship.we been 2gether almost 5 years in may and I couldn't ask for no one better..

About a month into our relationship I told Dave that I was a guardian for a student of mine. My students family is really eccentric so I was nervous about him meeting them. When we went for my students birthday Dave was amazing and took all the off comments and let them roll. I knew he was a keeper then.

We always just kinda clicked together, but in the beginning i thought he would play me and i was ok with that (i left a bad relationship to be with him) and I made a comment one day about something and he was like 'no, i am in this relationship bc i dont get into relationships that only last 3 months, i get into things for the long hall' after this i knew we would be together for a while, but i think it was the night we went to the beach at night that i knew i would be with him forever.
