Who or what has been the most difficult person or thing to deal with during the wedding planning process??
The most difficult thing to deal with during my wedding planning process would have to be MOMZILLAS!! Both my mom and FMIL don't happen to like each other very much. It makes it very difficult for me to plan things because they each have their own strong opinions. I feel like they think that it is their wedding and it is all about them. I have learned to be patient and just nod 'OK' in order to not start a fight!! In the end it is about FH and I and not them!

my thing would be who hasn't been annoying lol. a lot of my family members have been annoying and think they know everything. though they don't live in NY!!! like telling me what things should cost and constantly accusing me of getting ripped off because NY is more money but no one gets that.
the worst though has been my parents. they both offered to pay for the wedding and we all sat down talked about prices and came up with a budget. it was all perfect & everyone was happy. so we booked everything. went over contracts, everyone was on the same page.
now we never went over the budget but it's like either my parents thought it'd end up being cheaper or they have buyers remorse. actually my mom had inherited money but instead of putting money aside she went on a huge shopping spree. anyway they were complaining all the time for months after booking everything literally almost a whole year. to the point I even broke out into hives & almost ended up in the hospital back in Sept. after that they finally shut up. guess they saw what they were doing to me? my parents are divorced btw so they also constantly want to make sure it's all 100% even down the middle payment wise. though my mom plenty of times has tried to get extra $$$ from my dad which is prob why he's so paranoid.
FH thinks my family is insane lol totally don't blame him. he's like how can they offer to pay then complain the whole time and act like we did something wrong? and like try to guilt trip us and make us feel bad. and at one point we were like do you want us to cancel the wedding? and they were like no no it's fine don't worry. so why complain??? lol. all my friends always joke they have no idea how I didn't end up in a mental hospital listening to them all year long. I mean just hearing me talk about it all the time stressed out my MOH lol. who was planning her own wedding and got married in Oct, her parents paid for hers too and acted nothing like mine. I just can't wait for it all to be over with. though as FH says we'll prob hear about this for the next 20 years of our life lol.

I'm the most annoying, by far. FH is so patient during this planning process. He has been a tremendous help, but I keep playing 'armchair quarterback' to my own decisions. He puts me in perspective and kicks me in the butt when I need it.

No one has really been difficult. Have there been difficult moments? For sure, there's been a few. Some people surprised us in less than pleasant ways, but nothing in such a way that it puts a damper on the day.

Same here....we've had difficult moments, for sure. But, no one person or persons have been difficult. We're paying for 60-70% of the wedding, but both our parents are offering all they can financially - and are being great sources of emotional strength throughout the process. Everyone is so excited about the wedding, and FH and I feel the love. The most difficult 'thing' has been the fact that we're not wealthy and yet trying to pay for a LI wedding. I don't think I've been this poor since my first job out of college and can't wait to get back to my 'usual' when it comes to the bank accounts...

My mom is MOMZILLA. She means well and my parents are paid for 80% of the wedding so I keep my mouth shut but she just doesn't stop and makes me frustrated. Luckily my dad is the voice of reason and always is on my side it makes things easy. FH just goes with the flow lol. I have had issues with FH'S mother. She's not doing anything wrong per se however she is very uninvolved. I try to include her all the time and she just wants no part in this. Oh well its all coming together :)

Mine would be a thing - not a person and it was looking for a place to live. FH and I have been really similar in our tastes for the wedding so we haven't run into any problems, but finding a place to live was so stressful. I was convinced we'd be living at home once we were married because we'd never find 'the right' place. Finally got it!
